The reason they hate us is ( I believe ) due to our support of Israel. If Israel assasinates a non-israeli political figure, the US Government claims that they are justified. If the Palistinians were to do that, they are condemned as terrorists.

Sorry. In my opinion, Isarael is the largest terrorist state in the middle east and the reason we are hated is because we refuse to hold them to the same standards as we hold the rest of the middle east ( Muslim ).

Bullshit. Some parents are just too busy to do their jobs. But when it comes down to it and it's little Jimmy's birthday and he wants to buy a video game with his spare money, you better bet that they'll end up cajoled into buying it.

BS.. Both parents work so that they can both have their SUVs and their vacation in the Bahama's every winter and Disney World during the summer. Far to many families have both parents working because they WANT to work to have money to buy their kids loves rather than being a parent and maybe not being liked by their spawn.

It may make a few parents take note, but it will probably just irritate other parents who have to take the time to go buy the game themselves. Do you all - or even most - parents are going to pay attention?

The Government in no way shape or form should be parents. Do you really want politians who couldn't balance a budget if their lives depended on it teaching morals and decision making to children ?

I'm sure they won't miss you... You'd just have flooded the lists and news groups with even more dumb questions, flames, etc.

Flooded the lists with crap ? I don't think so. I avoid posting until I have googled for a problem/solution and I don't find one. And, I have been a software engineer ( Yes. I have a BS in Computer Science ) for 17 years and I am still developing software and doing system administration along with tech support so I really hate asking questions that are in FAQ's .

Also, I am an active developer on the Linux HA ( High Availablility) for a fairly long time. I'm their non-linux release engineer. So from that list, I'm quite familiar with people who don't RTFM or read the FAQ's. Its annoying but you deal with it.
