the "not able to let a friend make a sub account" thing looks silly at first, but keep in mind digital ip rights.
if they say that, and if you lose your cloudsong to your best bud who made a sub account and xfered it over, they're not (or less) legally responsible to help retrieve/recover the item.
also keep in mind sub accounts possibly share account data. maybe, i dunno, i didn't rtfa tbh.

Ugh. I pay taxes every year in the US. They haven't fixed a big pothole outside my house on the road in years, and yet every year we allocate more and more money for military spending.
It's a old argument, i know, i know. But honestly now.....i have just all the more incentive to cheat on my taxes.
hahaha, awesome man! i had a similiar situation happen once, except replace "removing spyware" with "how to disassemble a computer" (she was a geek in training) and replace "give me head" with "bondage play involving cat-5 cable and steel battalion controller"
i haven't been the same since...if only all women knew how to treat geeks...3
honestly, it's just cost for me right now. i've been making near minimum wage, and can barely support my internet connection, food, and rent. with less than 100 dollars left over each month, i rarely get a choice to spend that cash on some hot new game that's come out, but the urge to play a new game is still there, especially if i've already beaten my previous game. sometime it's something as simple as a rpg, just something to keep me occupied...else i usually just turn to drugs or something else, and iirc games are much healthier than drugs.
so, i just download the game i want to play, and if it's really really really good, i'll pay for it later. (heck, i got 2 copies of fallout 2 and arcanum!)
i know being a group of slashdotters, the majority make impressive salaries or are going to a sought after college, but some of us are barely scraping by.
something that was explicitly laid out to the end user, something so easily prevented...
i hate to sound elitist, but maybe stupidity on such a grand scale should be punished in some form or another, if only for the rationale that it might make end users more aware of the problem.
Al: Well, we been having some difficulty. Ziggy, he's, uh, going through mood swings. I think we need get a girl computer put it right next to him, one with a nice set of *hard* disks.
Sam: You would.
just one step closer to the ps9.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcmtDAVM-3A
did anyone else notice the article had "loosing" instead of "losing"? 3rd paragraph, 5th line. /grammarnazioff
if you want to be a real stickler about security with OSS software, why not compile the binaries yourself? Bam, no reason for OSS

that intelligent design and intelligent thoughts are parallel and not perpendicular thoughts.

do we really want to have them stop wanking though? this way they're almost like Darwin award winners through default. (though admittedly less funny)
Hopefully the person who's doing the suit posts on a webpage about lawyer donations... /hint hint
