    I vote and I say no.
    The big retailers came and close down the mom and pop shops.
    Now the big retailers are hurting, and they want to return to profitability by taxing the competition.
    Not sure how it can be done economicaly

    I am sure if Korea so much as sneezes in the direction Chine will blast them before anybody gets a chance.
    Instability in the region will risk huge investments.

    They are just making noise to get attention.

    The world should simply follow a simple legal route, what is happening in N Korea will come to pass. Help them when they are reasonable.
    Ignosre them when they winge, follow international and spirint when they comit illegalities.
    It may take time, and people will suffer in that country,
    but illegal acts to hasten it will simply backfire and feed it.

    I am suprised that they would work for the common good, rather than the coorporate interest.
    The reality though is that 2015 is a loong way away, and by then these costs woudl have collapsed by nature.

    Everybody would be walking aroud with an voip phone tapping into free bandwidth. This has already started with android 2.3 and SIP VoIP

    No they are not ...

    Wikileaks does not need to be creadable, it helps though. There are mechanisms to avoid poisoning.

    The US goverment could generate 100,000 diplomatic documents and post it to wikileaks.
    The WIkileaks credibility can be shot by every measure and it still woudl be useful. You can't depend on it's creadability.

    One tool is ... cross referencing. If for example you see things said on record in the leaks between two diplomats refering to a third and so on.
    You then go to the official records and to the news papers and you find that these guys where actualy together, that woudl add to the credibility.

    And so on and so forth ...

    Actual knoledge on how things really work.
    There is so much investment in creating a facade, and wikileaks has undone much of that.

    Long term that is a good thing, short term ... they will get over it. Short term memory is in short supply

    I generaly say two things

    If I am at a friends house, and I want to put some music in my iPhone on my phone, can I plug it into any computer ?
    Every other phone can

    If I am traveling and take some photos with my SLR, can I simply plug the SD card into my iPhone. Almost every other smartphone can.

    And a final predictions ... within the year Steve will come up with a reason why flash is ok now.

    I just wish what I just wrote is actually said by some Google guy. I am hoping Steve will comit to not supporting flash one more time :-)
