I think man is definitely a shark. In fact man outsharks the shark. We bend nature to our needs. We enslave and destroy without hesitation or mercy, all for the reason that we believe we are so much superior to the other animals. Don't you really think that we might one day pay for our arrogance? Hopefully, not in our lifetime, right?
Ok, here's another case of art imitating life. Remember Blade Runner and the artificial snakes that the strippers used? This is too cool; I want one from my wife. And best of all they don't bite!
God, I'm glad I wasn't the only one annoyed as hell about that love triangle with the Russian bitch!
If they had cut that part out and also cut out all of those long-winded scenary descriptions, then we would have been left with an AWESOME 50 page novella!
Not those are all just stupid excuses that are not valid if the project is managed correctly. It is really not THAT hard to make sure proper credit is given. Hell, even the pornos manage to get the credits right and give credit where credit is due!
Oh yeah! I'm so excited by this release. It seems like forever since the last new and exciting linux distro release. I'm really bummed that the journaling file system isn't included. That is so critical for the production grade db stuff I do on a daily basis.
I'm still going to try this version of SUSE. This will be my first time trying it. So far, I've tried Red Hat and Mandrake, and I actually preferred Mandrake over Red Hat. Now I've been hearing great things about SUSE and I can't wait to give it a try!
If this turns out to be anything like the RED,GREEN,BLUE MARS series, then we are in for a very BORING adventure. But on the other hand, what the hell? It's better to go somewhere then no where at all. Mars just seems particularly desolate. Now Venus would be a much more interesting choice! There's nothing like pictures of lava and fire coming back to earth. Of course I guess it would be a very brief stay:)
Now all it needs is copy protection!

This is awesome, but have they figured out a way to ruin it by putting some shitty copy protection on it yet? It won't be ready for prime time until they have. And believe me, I'm sure they're already working on it!
He should take this Frankenstein monster into a Mac service center somewhere and just blow their minds.
>...AHEM...Are you sure your iMac hasn't been altered in any way? Ah, yeah, this is a stock system. ...HMMM..I don't know...Something just doesn't look quiet right. Well, I did install this new FUCKING CASE YOU MORON!!
I don't know. I tend to think that having a strong domain name is everything. Look at slashdot.org. That is the coolest name in the world. Do you think this site would be half as popular if it was called kiddiepornandsheeptoo.com??
This is good news. I was getting worried when last month IIS made that big jump against apache. We can't have MickySoft taking over the whole internet now can we?
I hear more and more about how the fbi is patrolling the web. It is sad to say, but soon probably the web will become so restrictive that even places like Slashdot will no longer be able to exist...

My point exactly...
"Hey, can't we all just get along?"
So true...So true...

Damn, it is news articles such as this that make me so glad I'm an American and live in the gold ole US of A!!
And I thought 35 cents for a public telephone local call was a rip off...
And I thought AOL at $25 a month was a rip off...
And I thought paying $100 a month for all the channels on the DSS Satellite was a rip off...
And I thought Microsoft Windows 2000 was a rip off- oh wait that is still a rip off!!!!!
Progress is still progress. Let's not be too upset when we are making strides forward, even if it is not as fast as we would have liked.

NSI is a cancer to the internet and should be disbanded and all of the executives should be publicly hung online at thehangingtree.com

Well, if you're going to stand there on your high horse at least learn how to spell!!
I mean, for God's sake, Konsumer????
Why is that the the BSD and Linux people can never get along? It seems like it is all the same cause to me!
What? How in the hell did I miss hearing about this. My God, I really do live in a broom closet!
