i did not RTFA but i own a coleman heating devie that rates at 5000 BTU that uses a titanium mesh filter and standard propane (something I guess they can still egt in some quantity) the two of which create some magical reaction to produce heat without fire. I don't know if this means no CO gas produced but the package claims it is safe for use in confided areas (such as a camping tent).
This heater has run for for over 8 hours on one small bottle of propane now and the heat it generates would be more then enough to boil water or brown a small skillet of beef so i imagine this is what he is calling an invention
Well I'm sure you meant Ohioans but as a former Californian recently moved to Idaho I can say two things: Firstly there is far more mover-overers here then in CA. Secondly I have seen a huge increase in run-up-your-arse-like-we-did-in-california'ers here.

.... that's a long list of things to do on a Christmas visit, while I'm sure that's working fine i also believe that installing Ubuntu will work just as well and be much more straightforward for those that are even half as knowledgeable about Linux as you appear to be about windows.
I read that article a bit differently, first off they took a list of mostly private donations and because California law requires donaters to list there employers, they got along with that the business names.
They then decided to post the business names even though they knew the donations were made by private individuals. To say that since one guy that works for megacorp X supports prop8 that must mean the whole company should burn and starve to death?!?!

So here is the facts, the Mormon church dropped polygamy in 1890 because they felt having Utah incorporated was necessary. At which point some members split off to form the Fundamentalist LDS church. The two entities have had nothing to do with each other since then.
Also a product of the early 80's: I agree. I have a large music and movie collection, most of them are also on hard drive or backup dvd's. I own several hundred books some of them I have gone and downloaded in E-Book format because I wanted to take them along on the road with me. Most of those were downloaded from evil hax0rs because the publishers do not offer them in digital format.
My father (born 1956, and is totally against pirating and clueless about computers) totally agrees with my policy that if you own one copy regardless of whether it was second hand or not, you may do what you wish convert it, backup, etc. He has been a printer for 30 years and seen several competitors go under in copyright lawsuits, he wont even let someone copy a dollar bill or starbucks' logo on his machine in fear of a lawsuit.
We both know full well what is moral and what is immoral. You all should to. Pay to play, either the artist or the company that owns the rights.
I disagree AC. I have just recently established my own small business. $25 and a one page form filed with the Secretary of State and I am doing business. Now should I want to take it further and go LLC or incorporate or what have you there will be many thousands spent on lawyers, taxes, bribes etc. But, I have a small business and the only government connect I have is to my P.O.( think Probation not Post)
No, not shortsighted, just realistic. The fact remains that enormous amounts of money is spent to thwart these attackers and most of them don't get paid $4.4 million to hack.
I had to comment here (also note i logged in to make this) while I have not much tech experience, I have a lot of life experience. And that experience has taught me that criminals will work for nearly free becasue of there own psychological problems.
I used to steal cars, not smart of course, no I did not make much money, I just did it because it was fun... Now why do we hack class?

The statistics for early and mid 2006 did not change between friday and monday in July 2008. Mr. Obama's people found that by rewording that paragraph to make it sound like our boys are doing a wonderful job so they would not be seen as alienating a section of voters.
Let me break this down a bit more for those still reading.
Change "at great cost" meaning we spent a billion dollars and didn't even get a recipet, to "our troops heroically...Testament to our military...enourmous sacrafice by our troops." and all of a sudden you appear to be fully supporting the troops if not the cause.
All politicians do this massage the message bullshit. If you can not stand in front of me on day one and express the same passion and love for your country as you you do 6 months from now when you deliver "Platform version 17.9-02" then in my book 'yur burnt'. I have no use for a president or any other authority figure who didn't already have a complete set of beliefs when they made there bid for office.
Any amount of waffle is unacceptable in our time. If you will change your mind on your own about something you once thought totally immoral or even just slightly wrong how long will it take you to change your mind when someone puts money in front of you?
