Do you have any examples of closed drivers not working well? (I'm not trying to challenge you, I just want to know.;))
I know it's not the same scenario, but hooking up my old laptop (it sports a Geforce Go 6200) with a CRT TV wasn't that hard to do. So... what about them beamers?

Goodbye, VGA

(...) but you obviously can't send an analog signal into a digital interface.
This is why DVI-D to VGA (and conversely, VGA to DVI-D) adapters don't exist. That said, DVI-I (and DVI-A too, but I have yet to see one of those) can send both digital and analog signals, so I would call it an adapter.
Yeah, I know; not an FPS. Still, Oni needs a remake. With less dull colors though, please, 'cause everytime I played that game, it felt like an episode of Derrick vs color TV.
I've only been emulating native speakers, pal. I've seen people type "My two cents," "Just my two cents" and "Just my two cents worth" at the end of their post countless times.
The nominative plural ending for Latin nouns following the second declension is -i, so if virus was a masculine noun, which it is not ("n." means it's neutral), it would then take an i, which would give "viri." But since "virus" is neutral, its plural is "vira," so next time you wanna brag about how well you know Latin — without sounding like a fool —, say that instead.
Or you can say "viruses" if you feel like speaking English. My €0.02.
P.S.: The only time you get that double i in the nominative plural is when you inflect a second declension masculine noun that ends in -ius, such as "filius."
The grandparent post forgot something very important: we're talking about a full 3D game (unlike the first two episodes) on consoles that are much more powerful than a PS1 and that have new types of controllers. Diablo's console version did suck, but the current context is very different from what it was back then.
Yeah, but the console version was the only version that was released in French.:U
It's not that I care, but some of my friends who couldn't speak English wished they could have had a French version back then. Of course, it didn't really bother those same people that the French voices in Diablo II totally sucked. I wish I were kidding.
Anyhow, you're right: "to port" isn't the right verb here. What I meant to say was that they took a label that meant something for some of us and slapped it on console games that has barely anything to do with their computer counterparts.
The Baldur's Gate franchise was turned into a hack & slash when ported to console, but Diablo games are already hack & slash games. What will Blizzard do? Develop a meta hack & slash?
Some previous responses have said "People who can afford smart phones are smart enough to use protection". I'll counter with "People who can afford smart phones can also afford alcohol, and alcohol and urgency will decrease protection usage"
I'll counter it by saying that people who have a lot of money don't have to think about tackling problems and finding workarounds, since they can always buy brand new stuff. On a more general note, being smart enough to make nice amounts of money doesn't necessarily mean you make smart choices in life.
I was gonna say www.thermalright.com but it appears they've ditched flash! Hallelujah!:D
Actually, they still have a flash animation on their frontpage, showcasing their products, but at least, now you can navigate on their website without having to use flash.

Seriously now... Why the hell was this modded funny?
Yes! Playing as Muro was so fun!

Here's a bit of a consolation: http://daggerxl.wordpress.com/
Do you mean that Kinect isn't up to the task? I'm asking in earnest here.
But there are other consoles on the market, right? ;)
Dammit, I always make that mistake.
Sweeping generalizations on the Internet? Shocking!
Yeah, that technology was named after Harald Blåtand, because he managed to unite "dissonant Danish tribes into a single kingdom."

Full screen co-op? You mean, just like the arcade D&D games on CPS-2? Man, those are so fun to play in multi!

Pedantry can never hurt. ;)

I once took a linguistics class at an American University, and some kids didn't know what adjectives are. And that was LING 470 something.
Never forget that linguistics is generally overlooked in English-speaking countries.

Is diesel pricier in your country? It's always been the other way around in mine — I'm French.
Here in France, you can't use something bigger than the burglar's weapon. But you can only fire at them if they attempt to do it first.
Hence — French law thinks that French citizens are mind readers.

Where are my mod points when I need 'em? D:
Erm... You do realise that games don't scale well past two GPUs, don't you?
