Where will the heat go? The article says "into the empty space in the wall" but that's only about 16" X 3 1/2" by about 6' (some construction techniques differ). Not a whole lot of space, and it'll pressurize fast, making the fan useless.
It's been my experience in other jobs I had leading up to my being in I.T.; that Unions are not good for workers, they are only good for Unions.
Unions only care about their next contract negotiation, so they can charge their members fees that the company takes directly off your cheque. So long as they are collecting that fee from the membership, they couldn't give a rats anus about you, Joe Individual, or your problems with the company.
RH 7.3 had a nice disk in the retail version. It was one of those business card type discs labelled "System Administrator Survival Disk". Bootable RH 7.3, 2.4 kernel, and enough tools to get most jobs done.
It's been a real timesaver too. Anything it doesn't have that I needed, I just threw on to a 3 1/2" CDR.

Those were cool! Everything got surreal, and nothing could touch you! So excellent! I never got to play that game multiplayer much though. No one I knew had it.
I'm replaying the GOTY Edition for the umpteenth time. Each time has been a new experience. Should I play stealthily? Should I go full out fragfest? Will I sell out to the dark side? Will I try to get zero kills, or just pop 'em from afar?
I haven't tried the Thief series, but I have to say that Deus Ex was the biggest diversionary FPS (if you can call it that) since Duke Nukem 3D and Nocturne.
Everything else just seems to be shiny replacements for Wolfenstein.
Don't even get me started. They could have hired so many more police, given half to the military so they could buy fuel for their ships and planes...not to mention health care.
