We're moving away from this model. I haven't heard anyone except vegans talk about fat in this way. Cholesteral is the repair mechanism and is triggered by inflammation. The popular theory now is that the causal link between higher cholesterol levels in the blood is something to do with omega 3/6 ratio and lack of vitamin d from sunlight. At least, that is what I've been hearing from nutrition podcasts for the last few years.
Where would you expect to get your calories of you are avoiding fats if not starches? Here is a link to an image of a 1990s food pyramid: http://www.healthy-eating-poli...
I would not call cheese "concentrated milk" well, not the way you are portraying. That is almost like calling cows concentrated grass. We label creamer as non-diary if it has had the lactose removed. Cheese and yogurt making involves the fermentation and conversion of lactose to amino acids. I won't drink store bought milk and don't have access at the moment to the raw stuff (no diary cow on the farm atm) but I still buy whole milk at the store and let it turn into viili yogurt or kefir.
This type of yogurt is super easy to make btw... anyone that is interested I suggest you order some cultures and give it a try.
Well, if you are of European decent then milk has likely been extremely important to you. It is commonly thought that the ability to digest diary was what gave our recent ancestors a leg up on other populations in the area. There is evidence of diary and cheese making as far back as the 8000 years ago.
Do you think hurling pejoratives at someone strengthens your position? Look, I'm not a conspiracy nut but when you ask me whether I should believe people whose job it is to lie and deceive or someone who has dedicated his life to exposing lies.. yes I tend to side with the latter person. It strikes me as incredible that we are in a situation where progressives are siding with the covert intelligence agencies and conservatives with freaking wikileaks but here we are. I respect that you disagree with me but before any of this snowballed, back in Aug 2016 Assange was offering a 20k reward for info on Seth's death. Maybe he was seeking publicity for his organization, maybe not but you and me being on the sides we are... feels a bit like we've stumbled into the looking glass.
Was there ever evidence that Russia was the Wikileaks source? Julian Assange has certainly denied it and implied not too subtly that it may have been a certain murdered DNC staffer named Seth Rich. Regardless if it was him or not Julian Assange has stated unequivocally that the source was a DNC staffer.
I would appreciate it if someone could supply more accurate numbers but last I heard Eli's ventures in total and received just under 5 billion dollars in subsidies and last year they were losing 4k per car sold. I don't have that broken down between spacex and tesla.. Could you detail some of the subsidies you believe oil companies receive? I'm not aware of any oil company specific subsidies other than some small business subsidies that don't really apply to the big boys. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.
I think I remember reading an article recently fretting about this. They were worried specificaly about the automated cars "driving" down organ availability by drastically cutting down on traffic fatalities.
Meaning for most men is simply having a role that requires effort within your social group and some level of standing in that group. Plowing a field or building a shed is meaningful work. Anything that involves physical work with other men can and will lead to a pretty happy life. Traveling and taking art classes? Is self indulgence equal to a meaningful life these days?
Most of the media and "analysts" outside of Washington are in NY and Cali. Given that Trump won the popular vote in the US by 3 million if you exclude those two states, it is easy to see how such a skewed view of the electorate could come about.
I've tried several Twitter alternatives some in beta some not and unfortunately, most of the things I dislike about Twitter I dislike about them as well. You can join a network that has a strong anti censorship stance and this seems like progress but then you end up with almost unending amounts of hate and vitriol in excess even of Twitter. Even on platforms populated by people on my side of the political isle (libertarian republican types)... it is just unpleasant and unhealthy and gets old fast. I don't know how you take a global broadcast like platform and make it into something palatable.
If I were to perform a search for "is mars inhabited by aliens" I would expect to get kooky sites about aliens. If I search for "did the holocaust happen" it is because I am looking for sites that are addressing that question. "Everyone" knows it happened. Anyone upset about these results knows it happened and would never perform this search. People are only performing this search so they can whine about the algorithm which... was doing its job. I'm sorry that neo nazis are able to get accurate results back for their interests but I would be more sorry if google started weighing in more and more often on "truthiness".
Nintendo just isn't relevant anymore to me or my peers. It is sad yes but I'm about done with getting excited about new consoles from them. They can only milk my nostalgia for so long.
The search is working as intended. The only problem people have is because this is a sensitive topic. Anyone performing a search questioning this topic will more than likely be interested in the sites questioning this topic. The fact that such sites are kooky by their very nature is irrelevant.
I don't know about busywork... Imagine a small army of people in every community dedicated to nothing but beautification, planting and maintaining gardens, building elegant and finely wrought housing that takes more effort than could be justified in commercial building. We could have them live in and build little hobbit homes and wear giant overalls during work hours and use lilting shakespearean type speech. I'm beginning to like this idea.
A law is nice and specific to current tech that will probably be very old tech in the next 5 years. This is one case in which I would prefer the supreme court issue a general ruling rather than go through congress.
I like this idea in theory but what happens when you are guaranteed a job and you decide to just goof off, call in sick etc. If this is a guaranteed job and you cannot be fired, is it really going to be a job for most of these people? Imagine taking a crew of the lowest wage workers in the country and then telling them there is no way they can be fired. Turn around a few weeks later and what is their work performance going to be?
If that is how it works then my first step would be to form an LLC and maintain most of my holdings there so that my "personal" income would allow me the full basic income amount.

Oh don't worry. I imagine there are plenty of things that need deodorized in India.
Possibly. Maybe we should still donate to https://www.indiegogo.com/proj... just in case.

In California laws are about intention rather than outcome.

I am happy to surrender my organs after death provided the person is willing to accept my brain as well.

Simply tie the offer of welfare to a sterilization program. Easy.
Wait, you believe his major accomplishment as President was being elected? I guess we are all in complete agreement then.

So you are coming out strongly against people making abrasive comments about specific people online?
