    More secure "out of the box"??? Who is going to install an OS w/o tuning it and doing updates anyhow? This whole "out of the box" saying is bogus. If you're running a default install, you're just asking for touble w/o doing the required updates, etc.

    My 802.11b network is _WIDE_ open.150 gigs of audio/video is free to grab via ftp. There are notices I have placed around stating that I already know that my system is open and that I won't be giving you a cookie because you were smart enough to dl a wifi and port scanner.

    Why not open it up? I've brought together all of these songs/videos because people were willing to share w/ me.

    Yes, I share over 12k songs.You won't get a single one of them if I see you are not returning the favor by allowing others to gather from you.

    I see folks around who are eager to try to impress by saying how much they've found and speak of all these "secret servers" they know of. I really don't care. If you want to impress me, have the balls to stand up and share what you have. (Unless of course it's an STD, then keep that to yourself (Or give it to one of the folks who like to aquire, but not distribute)) :)

    As for helping terorists and kiddie-porn twats, go don your tin-foil helmet.

    And yes, I'm expecting a cease-and-decist letter from MPAA, RIAA, & SBA come Monday morning after posting this.

    Two 'mistakes' in your approach. First, use "while true" instead of "while yes". The `yes` command just prints strings of 'y'.

    Secondly, grab a larger image as that will suck more bandwidth per connection. (I didn't take the time to check everyone, but fell free to find the argest possible(And make sure it's coming from carorcar.com and not being hosted elsewhere as we don't want to suck up somelese's bandwidth))

    IOW, try:

    Are you saying that when I take my Motorola i305 and hit the menu button, Moce the cursor down 5 positions and hit select twice that it isn't my GPS position displayed? Sure looks like it to me.

    In addition the phone will also display my heading and velocity.

    OTOH, reception isn't as good as a full-fledged GPS unit. Still neat though.

    I love Enlightenment!! I cannot see how the others where I work use the 'modern' window managers. E is the most advanced I've found that utilizes the most potential of X. Some of the others screw up when loaded more than once per system. (startx -- :1 & startx -- :2) Or they don't behave well when exporting the display to another system. Maybe it's not the WM itself and actually the apps instead. Most of the programs I use are just terminal emulators. Basically, the only graphical progs I use are a web browser and xdaliclock. Maybe I should step into the modern era.

    Nah... I'll stay old school. ;)

    It is a device that is a more complex version of a 'View Master' toy. Take two images from different angles. Feed one image to the right eye and the other to the left. Performs amazingly well.

    You are still mostly free to uninstall whatever you'd like.

    This isn't the only distro out there. If you need something small, try one of them that will even leave space after being put on a few floppies.

    for sites that require registraion I identify them in the address itself. It you control the domain, it's ccake to setup/use.

    It INSTANTLY identifies where the email was scarfed from.

    This also works for snail mail also. I usually use the store/companies name as my firstname. For example, I wanted a Black Diamond catalog. The companies initials are bdel. For my name I gave:

    Bdel Coles

    It was humorous watching the junk mail arrive sent to bdel. Easily tell whether or not your address was sold/rented.
