Ewesoft http://www.ewesoft.com/ is also available. It is derived from waba but targetted to PocketPC and the Sharp Zaurus. I have begun looking at game development with it and some of the classes in the ewe.graphics namespace make developing games very easy.
I had to deal with this back when I had an Earthlink dialup account. The simplest and most effective solution we found was to port forward another port on the mail server to port 25. (We used 333) Then I just had setup my outgoing smtp port to 333 in my mail client.
that when I try to use the feedback center from the help menu, the submission form fails! All I wanted to do was be a good tester and send in some bugs that I've noticed, such as NS6 importing all my IE5 bookmarks but not my NS4 bookmarks...
The big deal is that the majority isn't always right. Just because someone else doesn't want you to see the word "fuck" on a website doesn't mean you don't have the right to see it. People spend way too much time pushing their beliefs on other people, which could be better spent helping people who need help. Oh my god, my child is going to see something pornographic! Wake up, your child will see it at some point in his life. Usually around 10 or 12, they're going to get a hold of a playboy and sneak off somewhere and look at with their friends. You can't shelter your kids from life forever.
But are you the same Katz that does that cartoon, or is it just coincidence you have the same name? I know that you come from a not-so-technical background, but that's it.
Do believe that moving applications over to the server is the right way to go, or do you think that this would discourage people from really learning about computers by tinkering with things on their own machine?

You can program your Palm in Java! Check out WabaJump, Waba, and Jump.
maybe I just code too much but often I'll have weird mixed dreams where real life things happen, as I see the code for those things to happen..
for example:
wife: "could you do the dishes?"
me: "sure. boolean dishesclean=dishWasher.start(dishes);"
the weird part is that I don't type it in or say it or anything, it just appears overlaying the rest of the dream.
Wait, he is moving to colder climate! The article said he was moving to Wisconsin.
