NeoOffice/J is slow as crap on my 933mhz ibook. I'm not really sure why. Office runs pretty good on it. I'm guessing the huge amounts of java overhead just can't hang with my 2 year old ibook.

I've been using vonage for a month and it seems to be pretty good quality for almost all of mine calls. I guess it's a hit or miss though depending on what your ISP is.
I have friends playing EQ2 beta. No one has said anything good about the game so far other then the water looks good. I hope blizzard stomps sony a new one.

Out of 242682 non-zero data forks total, 242594 (99.96 %) have no fragmentation. Out of 5378 non-zero resource forks total, 5367 (99.80 %) have no fragmentation.
Seems better then my machine at work on NTFS which shows up as a big red square in disk defragmenter.
I noticed open shiiva used an older version of this. The old one is very slot at encoding because it doesn't have altivec optimizations. Anyone going to be working on those. would help the mac people a lot.

Dude. Iphoto and itunes look pretty good. That crap looks like total ass. They couldn't pass it for itunes/iphoto on a bad day.
It seems the newer ibooks have more L2 cache. 512k Vs the 256k that came with the 14 inche one I just bought 2 months ago.
They run great on my 14 inch 933mhz ibook with 256 megs of ram.
