After sitting through "Please Wait. Configuring Updates" every time that I would shut down and boot Vista, this would in fact be a welcomed change.
Well, I switched to Linux anyway... But okay.
Well, except that I have to program everything in Visual Studio 2005.
But otherwise it's pretty cool, we have Windows and Macs avalaible and if you want to access your student drive remotely, it's on a Mac via SSH, and the Engineering school has UNIX accounts on various machines for our SSHing needs- Debian, Solaris, OSX, and HP-UX.:D
For what it's worth, my mathematics professor saw this. And she polled our class this morning in lecture, seeing who was an immigrant or of immigrant parents. And most of us were.:\
Well, having just graduated from public school and experiencing the detrimental side of No Child Left Behind in all of my AP and Academy classes...
I must say that this wasn't a long shot off of the NCLB in terms of effectiveness. At least now the teachers can stop worrying about losing funding for not performing!

Now do the students have to pay the extra surcharge that offsets the cost of the phones, or does the University pick up that tab as well?

Golly that amazing!
Sad. But true.
A google search for that set of words brings up 777,000 results, with some verbatim matches. Maybe you should spend more time on the internet?
The same ones that say "God put the fossils on Earth to test your faith" ?
There should be a mod for "Sad but true".
Greatest comment ever. Brownie points for you.
But languages evolve, else we wouldn't have half of the words we use now anyway. New words can be added to modern vocabulary. We don't speak Latin.
I can imagine that...
:| Troll.

Well, I use flash with ndiswrapper on my 64-bit system...
I'm not a particle physicist either. I just graduated from high school. I learned that in basic physics.
Uhh... wasn't that common sense? I agree. Geek card revoked.
