This is true. In classes that are both boring and easy, I tend to browse Slashdot or read email while paying half attention in case anything important is said. In hard classes, my full attention is required and I don't usually goof off.
I find the most effective method of note taking is if the lecturer provides a copy of their PowerPoint to follow along with and annotate. I may also record the audio so I can go through the whole lecture again if I need to.
Even if dying weren't a problem with cancer anymore, it would still be a big burden on the health care system and this treatment surely wouldn't be cheap for the individual.
Yes, the Pope, on the other hand, does have to have the attribute "catholic==YES", otherwise it won't work (whatever "it" it is).
