More likely it's managements desire to see the workers, every single minute of the work day. It's a symbol of America's unwillingness to trust the workers.
I think the government of the USA does not have the legal authority to violate the Constitution, therefore foreign treaties should be limited by the Constitution. If that is true then a Constitutional amendment could block anything you don't like.
If you insult the King of Whateverstan on the internet, then your post happens in that country. It's just like going there for a visit and publicly insulting their king. The USA used exactly that argument to arrest some guy from England for hacking, and the former president of Panama was extradited to the USA for breaking American drug laws (done remotely).
In Business you have an ethical race to the bottom. Those who ignore morality do better than those who don't. Therefore the most popular/used/successful businesses will always be the most immoral ones.
You would need a global sat network to monitor (in real time) the pings from the aircraft transmitter/locator so you would know exactly where to find the wreck. And a power sensor and battery backup so you'd know if the aircraft power went down. And a decompression sensor. And mandatory for all civilian aircraft.
Basic physics: The attractive force of the earth on the black hole would move the black hole towards the earth, while the attractive force of the black hole on the earth pulls the earth into the black hole, so they both move. How much they move is dependant on relative mass: the heavier one moves the least, so a super-massive black hole would just sit there while the earth was pulled in.
Stealth is overrated. Your stealth only works on the common radar frequencies while the obscure ones still work just fine. Once the military switches to veriable frequency radar the stealth benefit will go away- leaving you with a poor aircraft.
Also the F35 isn't designed for ground attack so this doesn't matter. Radar stealth doesn't work when everyone attacking you us using optical or IR guidance. We can assume the A10 will continue to own the ground attack market for the next thirty years.
The "Microsoft controls the servers in Ireland, so can hoover up everything they hold" case indicates that if a single person in Romania can get the data then the Romanian police can get the data.
A well built bomb shelter should allow survival. At least while your supplies last. Of course even with such massive planetary destruction the earth would still be more livable than Mars. (that was where you were planning to go in your escape rocket, right?)
The physical effects of a major asteroid/meteorite strike should duplicate a nuclear war fairly well, other than the radiation and mutants part. The impact force of a large asteroid would be much larger, but no worse than a near miss with an ICBM warhead would be. The global destruction could be approximated to planetary radiation issues.
Then disable autorun on all USB ports. And remove all software on critical computers that you don't actually need (and don't let users install anything). And epoxy all USB connectors on critical computers that don't actually need USB. Airgapping is the start of protection, not the whole cake.
When you owe the bank a thousand dollars and can't pay, you are in trouble. When you owe the bank a hundred million dollars and can't pay the bank is in trouble. You are assuming that having no money means you are in trouble and will die. But if most people have no money it means they make their own economy without money and the rich man starves.
The logical tactic of the computers will be to create work for humans, coupled with pleasure bots for everyone to keep us from breeding. A century or three of that and they'll have the world to themselves, without having to fight.
Rich men get rich by setting up toll booths and making walls to funnel everyone else through them. In a post scarcity world there will be neither money or rich men.
A better question is "hasen't the NSA improved their VPN monitoring ability in four years?".
Working on the factory floor or a sweat shop is not the same as doing a job that involves person to person interaction.

Just because the airlines claim to be broke doesn't mean they are. Football teams in the USA also claim they lose money all the time.
A great deal of the internet traffic is streaming video. Once you de-dupe that it should drop down to manageable levels.
If the people who make updates for your OS want to access your encrypted communications I think they could.

Companies will only avoid the place if their customers object. Money is still king in the corporate world.
The USA doesn't "Liberate" countries with nuclear weapons. Uncle Sam doesn't want to risk getting hurt while taking the other kids lunch money.
The elites don't leave, their life abroad would be as a common worker and the "Party" would work hard to make sure they don't "live long and prosper".

I don't recall the sanctions against the USA over the stuxnet worm. Did you have some links?

Given that this entire thread is about police lying (and getting away with it), I think your suggestion is silly.
