It's a free country, why don't you take on the investment yourself. But I heard that teetotalers are some 2% of the population, so you might find it difficult to profit on such a small market.
That's because Justin is an excellent programmer, unlike the majority of knuckdraggers who write mobile apps as marketing for big companies. Not everyone can be him, and not everyone can afford to hire a team like his.
This old grognard knows about the differences between JPEG, PNG and BMP. Let's stop using PNG in our applications for the rectangular images that don't need an alpha channel. (JPEG style algorithms are not great for alpha layer compression) Also you can do a fair bit with SVG and bitmap textures (PNG or JPG). But the tools kind of suck for creating them. And in terms of UX, sometimes a simple color scheme or gradient looks nicer than complex 8K scenery/photographs that you want to use. Plus if it's simple enough you can specify it as vector graphics and scale it to any size you want.
Someone stole my bike. But since I'm not a billion dollar corporation I don't get to have several government agencies at my disposal for pursuing what amount to a civil case.
I assure you the I am hurt more for not having a bicycle than a movie studio is when someone pirates a film.
NVIDIA's new building is only about 6 miles away from Apple's and it is essentially one giant room with 11.5 acres of cubical. I exaggerate, obviously the full 500,000 sqft of floor space is not cubicles, my rough calculations show it more like 2.75 acres of cubes (6' x 8' * 2500 people).
Is the Shuttle proper? It seemed to be limited to orbital missions, the original Shuttle programmed assumed that space stations were going to be a bigger deal than they are today. Perhaps a second time around we could avoid those mistakes by taking into account the various criticisms of the shuttle program.
I can agree that Smartphones blur the lines. But some of us old timers think of a general purpose computer as being an especially good replacement for a typewriter, and a phone is a terrible typewriter.
I believe Intel had a royalty-free arrangement with ARM, Ltd. for some historical reasons carried over from DEC (patents trade?). It was a very sweet deal for Intel, and they sold it off to Marvell. Marvell hasn't had much success with the XScale business either, so in the end I guess Intel made the right call even if I don't understand why XScale has been a failure.
HT83C51 and 8XC51FC found in microwaves and washing machines is MCS-51 compatible (8051, 8032, etc) and is by the broadest technical definition a computer, even if few would consider an ordinary microwave to be a computer.
The microprocessor-based device that sits on your desktop that you've been calling a Personal Computer isn't a computer either. Computers fill huge rooms and are only used for very serious scientific work.
If revolt goes on long enough some of the 1%'s idealistic children will betray their parents, or more radical members of the bourgeoisie unhappy with the status quo choose to trade their wealth for political power by switching sides. Do not assume everyone acts in their own self interest 100% of the time.

Ask for a pay cut in 3 years.
Zing!
The electric/hybrid trucks would be empty.
I'm not looking for the mechanism, I'm saying there is a false dilemma that Canonical presented between buttons of left versus on the right.
I think we can all agree it would be insane to have the buttons in the center
Long haul trucking isn't feasible with such vehicles at this time.
Hey man, if it avoids civil unrest of a billion people it might be justified.
Some of us don't want any buttons on our windows, and would prefer to have minimal to no decorations.
Good luck getting Amazon deliveries when we take the tailpipes off all the delivery trucks.
Me: "Ummm, give me item 4-E"
Vending Person: "Sorry, it got stuck. That will be $1.50"
Robotic factory workers and vending machine baristas have been around for decades.
Wouldn't better VR conferencing make business travel less critical and thus negate much of the need for Hyperloop?

I doubt it, I've got a very deadpan delivery.

I mean seriously, why would I need bluetooth headphones? You need to text me that shit.

How is your comment relevant?
