This is a fact. Someone is posting with the subject line "scrubbing my nuts." These posts are somehow preventing all of the comments from below that post to not be displayed. In effect, making ./ useless to anyone with at threshold below +1. Try it yourself, on this story, or the two below. Set your t*hold to -1 or 0, and watch the comments dissapear. Something should be done, I just worry that the admins browse at +1 and aren't seeing it.

How could Linux be a unix killer? Linux is a type of unix. Maybe Linux could be a killer of other unix flavors, but it would be impossible for it to be a unix killer without killing itself.

your argument might make a shred of sense if even 1% of the users out there cared at all about the actually programming behind what they're doing. I just don't care if my OS is fork()ing or whatnot, I just care how it works. If I cant get as many windows as I want, I don't care one bit how the OS is doing it.

It seems to me, first of all, that this would just be too big to be a useful PDA. My Palm works for me because it does fit in my pocket. Really. Anything that doesn't, I'm just not going to carry around. Period. Second, the page indicates that this is really a gaming machine. Any PDA features will likely be an afterthought and not be too great.

Seems like a rather crucial part of the letter was left out in the main part of the story. I quote:

It should be noted that all of the people listed on the resignation letter were not active developers, only 5 have actually contributed recently to the project, and at least 1 has never actually used Stampede Linux, but rather is affiliated to another developer through personal relations.

Sounds to me like this changes the story at least somewhat.
