    This is just like in Germany, where you have to pay for a few crappy state funded TV channels if you own a computer with an internet connection, because these channels put a few fragments of some shows on the web for a few days after they aired.

    I still have hope that one day, one of the star authors (Stephen King, Ken Follett etc.) will write a "Choose your own Adventure" book, or a text adventure. I mean, the concept is so great, but all we get are "You are the hero fighting the evil wizard" style books.

    But that's complete nonsense.
    Everything stands relatively still, it looks like everything is moving apart from everything, because new space comes to exist everywhere. And since the "borders" of the universe are connected (Think surface of a 4D donut here) there is no "center" of the universe or center of mass, just like there is no center of the earth's surface.

    The way I see it the iPad/Phone/Apple in general is like a very large, beautiful prison cell. Sure, WE might walk far enough to reach the walls and be unhappy about it, but to the average consumer (who doesn't walk far and never reaches the walls), it feels like beautiful freedom. It's like the restrictions don't exists.

    Dealing with all the stupid customers who get confused by the overly complex passwords they'd type in would be more expensive than the occasional cracked 0-9 account.

    Also, it makes it easier to do banking using your phone.

    Or use 1024 if you don't like IEEE/IEC norms...
