    You should go back in time to tell NASA not to call it a launch pad. And tell Sikorsky to be sure it doesn't get called a landing pad or helicopter pad. Might want to warn the cryptographers to call it something else than a one-time pad. Oh, don't forget Star Trek and their PADD.

    Watch a spectrum analyzer when there's a microwave running. Entire channels just annihilated by the noise from it.

    Crappy portable phones are fun to watch too. Not the full scale nuclear armageddon of the microwave but I'd say noisy enough to be tac-nukes.

    Hybrids will do that, genetically modified or not. Try growing an apple tree from a seed from a grocery store apple. It most likely won't taste anything like the original apple and it probably won't grow very well unless you graft it onto the right sort of root stock.

    Or if if you down have that long to wait try some hybrid sweet corn. What it gets pollenated with with change the taste of the ear and $deity knows what you'll get if you plant a kernal.

    Better make your will out now then, your body can't live without chemicals. NaCl and H20 being two big ones. Then there's trace minerals which need only be present in vanishingly small amounts but lacking those few molecules of it you do have will kill you.

    Never edited an article. Never added an article. The Great Webcomic Purge made sure I never would waste time trying to contribute anything to WP.

    And why would I stop consuming its resources if I was working against it? That would be supporting it in a way.

    Criticism where criticism is due and WP's cabals need criticism if it's ever going to live up to its potential.

    I hope you've written to every manufacturer of fire-proof materials that because their material can't withstand the heat of being in a star they aren't fire-proof.

    Don't forget the people that make bullet-proof vests. Those don't stop .50 BMG AP rounds (or higher calibers) so they shouldn't be telling everyone they are bullet-proof.

    Or maybe the majority of the planet understands that "proof" means "resistant under expected circumstances" . And any -proof is a moving target. You've proved that better idiots will evolve, so what was idiot-proof ten years ago won't be today.

    I've never encountered any problems with handling Albums in iTunes. Of course if you've got shoddy meta-data you'll have problems but then GIGO isn't an iTunes issue.

    If I want the "entire purchasing experience" I'll wander on down to an Apple store.

    When I want product A to go from warehouse B to doorstep C I use Amazon. If it's poorly packaged or something goes wrong with the shipping there's appropriate feedback channels with Amazon, which are not the product reviews.

    You may think you're all-important and that your one time shipping experience should mean as much as someone who is reviewing the actual usefulness and quality of the product but all you're doing is adding more useless noise to the reviews.
