    No, its actually pretty easy. Just imagine that someone invaded america, kicked you all out, and gave the land to another group of people. Whenever you went near your former home to protest or throw stones, you would be shot, attacked with rockets etc. Multiply it by about 50 years. Then you`d be close to understanding why Palestinians arent too impressed to Isreal, and the people who arm it.
    Multiply that by any number of other nations who have suffered the consequences of American foreign policy.

    Time to pay more attention to the news, and to your elected leaders.

    Celebrations of this sort go on whenever one side in a war achieves a `success`. Get over it. Its exactly what the States did around the time of the gulf war - remember?
    Unless you are suggesting americans should receive different treatment.
    Time to try and sort out problems in the middle east? Or time to clamp down on free speech, anonymous net use, encryption, civil liberties etc?

    aps isnt a compressed format, is it? I thought it was just 28mm film, as opposed to 35 or whatever. theres no compression though.

    who believed that most hardware is shoddily made crap. I cant remember when i last read a comparative review of PCs at a given price point where none of them had a dodgy display driver which failed basic timing tests, or a noisy fan, or faulty sound card, etc.

    Yeah, infringing on the rights of shoplifters just isnt fair! How do we know they are shoplifters. Apart from the obvious;criminal records, watching them on cctv etc.
    Its bad enough when record companies take action to stop people stealing their music, but to apply that to actual cds... outrageous.

    I set my prefs to `nested` but each stories comments appear in `threaded` mode. I can change them (on the page) and they work for that story, but if i change my prefs nothing happens! Bug?

    Yeah, i never heard back from them when i signed up for details of the launch of the free version. Perhaps my order is still being processed? Oh well. There`s plenty of OS`s around. At least Windows, for all its sins, is some use for music production (cubase, cakewalk etc). BE promised all this stuff, but the software producers pulled out.
