    According to the manual, it first appeared in NetBSD 1.5. The last edit to the manual was made in 2003.

    Most of the browsers released in 2008 will go to the site automatically if you type the name of the site (i.e. facebook or digg) automatically.

    Or just install OpenGoo on a Linux server and have everyone work from there. This way you own the documents you upload.

    "independent open-source data" sounds more like them trying to open up the source code behind H-1B than what they probably mean, which is "citizen gathered information". I know that the OSS model kinda includes it, but open-source is becoming a buzzword again and is apparently being used incorrectly to describe community efforts.

    That's not the problem though. The problem is that MS is using Codeplex to host not-OSS files.

    Hm, but if there were structures affecting us gravitationally outside of our visible "bubble", then gravity would need to travel faster than light. Either that, or these structures are massive enough to be black holes, so that the escape velocity is faster than c.

    The convenience of online docs (at least in a school setting where Gmail is blocked, fucking Websense) far outweighs the functionality of desktop docs, especially because I and most people I know won't be using half of that functionality.

    I believe Adobe opened up the Flash spec recently, so wouldn't that mean that the Open Source clone one would be greatly improved rather quickly.
