    Now corel, do me one favor, offer up some Macromedia Shockwave compatability, and we're in business!

    Goto there site (www.corel.com), dig around in there press releases, news, etc.. and i think you will find that they will be supporting Flash at least.

    I think that this is a good thing.

    And I don't think that Corel will let the products fall to peices.

    I think they will work at improving it just as much as there own software.
    Corel have quite oftern had Kia plug-ins (demo version) bundeled with PhotoPaint.
    But since Adobe PhotoShop Has such a larger market share. PhotoPaint has been left out in the cold a bit when it comes to plug-ins. Now that they have MetaCreatons, I think you will start to see a big differnce with app's like PhotoPaint.

    I find it hard to belive that corel would make it compatible to only photopaint, when it is alredy compatable with photoshop.

    If anything, I think it will do some good, and make things more compatable. Becasue, as a corel user, i can tell you that not many of the plugins work in photopaint, even though they're spossed to.

    I use it...
    And in my opinion it's Corel photopaint is a Adobe photoshop clone, only better. And Corel draw is an Adobe Illustrator clone, only better.
    Even if it wasn't good, you can get both of them and a whole lot of other stuff (fonts, font manager, okish 3d program, clipart, etc) for same price as photoshop alone.
    For a while there i thought i was the only one who acctually liked there stuff

    Yip, the Mambox Says it can. It also says it can read winamp (.mu3) playlists and supports just about all CD formats. Sounds like the one for me, as I hate having my music in one, jumbled mess. Pitty i have no money 4 one :(

    I think you have to realize that not everyone has the same listening habbits as you do. 65-70 mins might be ok for you. But i quite oftern listen to 120+ mins a day. Of diffent music.

    It would be a pain for me to spend losts of money on CF cards, and copy the music on each day. Than it would be to use my allready existing mp3 CD's.

    I have a MP3 player but it's hardly been used. I mainly use my CD player. My guess is it will say like this for a little while longer, before the two technologys begin to combine better.

    Correct - Sony does not have an MP3/CD player, but they do have an MP3 player. See here.

    Sony dosn't make an mp3 player, they make a MP3 player-like device, that playes there own MP3-like format. If you want to play ur mp3's. U have to convert them all to their format first.

    Then u have to by sony's own memory stick for additional memory, not either of the other standard media (SmartMedia, Compact Flash, etc.).

    I say eveyone should boycot sonys poor attempt to monoploize the mp3 scene, and not buy it.

    But u c, theu're doing it for marketing reasons... to get you hooked on it so you will want to buy there album.

    Chuck D is doing for political reasons. The only reason why he hasn't put a database of his stuff up is because his record label is giving him shyt about it.

    Pioneering internet music technologies would be using actual technologies of the internet for music purposes. Using the internet as a fancy mail order catalog isn't all that pioneering regardless of availability.

    Fancy mail order? Have you actually botherd to browse the site? He has pioneered alot. There arn't that many big bands/artists that give there stuff away for free, and make us of there web-site by putting meanful stuff on it. Want an example? go to any big band and it will be the same stuff. Lots of commercial shit, nothing a real fan would realy give a fuck about.
    At least Chuck D actually belives in free speech, and is not just doing it to boost record sales.

    If I illegaly download a mp3. And play it for my own amusement. Thats differnt from me illegaly downloading a mp3, puting it on a site, and saying that I made the song, even more differnt if I made money off it.

    Some goes for the web-site. If they coppied it. And browsed it on their HD, that's differnt from them copying it, putting it live on the net, and claming it as their's, and making money off it.

    It's not a double standard, so ur post isn't really relivant to how it affects the value.

    For a start, America dosn't have democracy. U only think you do. The country is run by big corperations who maniplulate you.

    An who the fuck are you to say that any other social system is poorer. Thats a load of bullshit. Even if "your" democracy seems better, that other counties, it is deffinitly not the role model of scocial systems out there.

    If living for money, and assasinating people who think differnt is your idea of a good system. Put ur fucken head back in the hole.

    The software on my computer is not ur's neither is the hardware. The internet is not urs, it's everyone's.

    First of all, kinetic energy makes the world go round.

    Well, i'm not sure if I got ur point right. But it sounds as if you think that the world relys on economics to servive, and that every great invention ever made to man came from America.

    Sorry to bust ur ego bubble here, but your wrong. I think you'll find that Japan is the leader when it comes to technology. And countries like Sweden and Norway also have made technological achivments.

    As for accomplishments... New Zealand split the first atom (unfortunatly, The US millitary made that into a bomb (now thats and accomplishment)). We, also invented flight. (although the wright bothers did it first (supposably), the idea was origonaly though up and no copied.

    As for the rest of the non-US countries, i'm sure if you look up in the history books you will find plenty of examples that the US relies on.

    I don't mean to start a flame war here, but saying that the world revolves round the all mighty US, and that everyone else, is below the US is just BS.

    I could go into the US economic system in more detail, but that is another story.

    Well, if u turn the CSS on, it won't make much difference anyway... They have use 'px' instead of 'pt' to define the font size. Come out 4-6 pixels hight. I'm not sure who's fult that is, or even if it is a bug. But u thought thay would have tested it out on At least One other browser other than IE. Oh well, no pretty pics to see either...

    Awww... Now that i'm too old for Lego, they bring out robotic Lego, and now LegoCAD. Oh well, at least now I have a reason to have kids.

    Seriously though, I think this is a great idea, and does have a point.
    In class, the kids would be givin a problem, certain restrictions. Then they would have to plan it out first on LegoCAD, before they are allowed to build it.
    This would teach the kid an enormous amount of skills, escpecialy in the field of engineering.
    It would be just like real engineering project.

    I have to say, out of all the toys on the market today, Lego is about the only thing that will keep ur kid ammused, and acctually do some good at the same time. I.e. they use maths and have to mentaly build the model in there head before they build something just to name a couple of skills.

    What does G.I.Joe, action man etc. teach ur kids? Guns are cool? Pokemon; buying things makes u happy?

    Normal CD players have managed to over come the skipping problem.. a player that that plays commpressed music would acctually skip less.. and would save battery power as won't havr to keep spinning the disk all the time, or at the same speed anyway...

    Will this game portray anarchy as a violent, irresponsable society?

    Or will it use it in the context that anarchy is chaos, like the gameplay is.

    Either way, calling anarchy chaos is about a big of a f*** up as calling the a christian a satanist.

    Anarchy has to be on of the most missinterperated ideas ever.

    Maybe technically u might be able to call them a commuist country, but they are far from what communism is supposed to be.

    Communism is when the workers have the powe over the things the produce and not dictated by someone else (like corperations etc..)
