I didn't realise people still wasted time by loading up typing in google.com or selecting it from their bookmarks and then waited for the useless homepage to load.

MS is just upset that when they used the desktop monopoly to gain an advantage in search by making Bing the default search engine in IE it didn't work so now they're just going to try and use the courts to give their shitty search an advantage.
That's my fear. I loved Duke and played the side scrollers but then really got into Duke 3D. I bought Quake when it came out but I didn't really play it much for the first couple of years purely because Duke was so much more fun. Then the amount of time I spent trying to read more about DNF just makes me think that I've spent a good chunk of my life (nearly half) waiting for it to come out.
As hard as I try to be realistic I think I'll still be expecting the second coming. I will most definitely be buying it without a doubt.
