  1. Yeah and their security seems to mostly be doped up young men. It'll all fall apart the second you decide you're tired of bombing their children and fly out.

  3. If the Is can't cut back and still fight poor countries that have a tiny fraction of the armoury and military as the US then you're doomed. Then again the US is still in Afghanistan after all these years with no real improvement so maybe you're screwed either way.

Not all of that is for advertising (like twitter) and while I understand why people wouldn't want to be tracked via non-advertising means you should expect some level of tracking with ads and you can do away with most of it with removing cookies. There has always been some sort of tracking with ads. I don't mind that. What annoys me are ads that have nothing to do with me. Ads showing fat women's guts promising weight loss or that awful ad with the old lady peeling the wrinkle removing thing off her face and making a ridiculous claim that this 50+ year old woman will look in her 20's. Or all the teeth whitening ones. Destructiod at least has fairly relevant ads unlike a lot of sites.

Sites with ads that assume they only have American visitors are the worst. I get the impression being fat, wrinkly and not having perfect teeth is the biggest fear to Americans.

  7. Think kids on Developers Begin Hunt For a Killer App For Google Glass · · Score: 1

Google glass is clearly the perverse best friend. It'll help watching children and recording your time with them. So good apps would be police trackers (see how closed the pigs are from you while you're nutting inside a kid) or maybe something that describes new toys. You can lure in kids if they're playing with something and you come off looking clueless about it.
