A week on a cruise hanging out in an exotic remote location, and interacting with people, local culture, trying new foods, etc
Getting diarrhea from the water of those 'exotic' locations. Getting a deadly virus or bacteria from the cruise ship, because 1000 people cooped up for a week in a tin can is oh so sanitary. Getting swindled by those people you are interacting with from the local culture. And don't for get the projectile vomiting from that new food that you have never had before.
Yeah.. good times.. good times...
Or, I can sit here on my recliner, playing WoW on my 60" big screen, eating the food I know I like, and not having to worry about losing more than 15 bucks a month to spend 6-10 hours a week having fun with my friends online.
You must have never beta tested with Blizzard before. That is SOP. The place holder names and graphics will be put in the beta a patch or two before the final RC. They are more concerned with making it work right than look pretty. That said, there are a lot of new graphics already in place.
The reason the servers are up and down right no is because they have been load testing the server software for several days now, until it can handle the full population load of a live server.
Um.. no.. look at the final medal count. China only won the gold medal count, and that was because of a lot of the standard 'home field advantage' that happens in EVERY Olympics. The US 'won' the Olympics with total medal count of 110 vs China's 100. Plus we have Micheal Phelps. That guy should have been in every sport with water... water polo, synchronized swimming.. you name it.
No.. we blame China because it is an oppressive regime who doesn't give a crap about human rights.
Any government who engages in 're-education' should be destroyed by any means necessary. So yes, I blame China for a lot of things, the deserve it. And just for the record, since someone with take things I have said and apply them wrong. I am not refering the to the Chinese people. I have a great respect for Chinese history and culture prior to the 'cultural revolution'. No.. it is the Chinese government I can not stand. I would gladly line them all up and put a bullet in there collective heads (that includes all tyrants like Putin, Chavez, Kim Jong-il, Ahmadinejad, Mugabe, and so many more. Heck.. I will even pull the trigger AND pay for the bullets.
A person makes an intelligent point and you post something like 'Score -2 stupid American?
I am an American. IMO, we should pull out of the UN. It is a failed idea, corrupted by dictators and tyrants. It seeks to form the world into a single government... and that government would NOT be a democracy.
2. There's an overall lack of theme or purpose. My first quest is to kill sprites, then boars, then harpies, then turtles, then orcs.... wait, I'm playing an orc. It seems like your people are fighting everyone and nobody. I want a common theme for why I'm doing what I'm doing.
See next answer...
3. I was ganked this morning by a 70 mage. Really honorable killing a level 30 who was fighting at the time. I don't know why I was never ganked in warhammer, but I wasn't. But every time I died I felt like I was killed honorably.
If you want to enjoy content and not get ganked.. then you should not have rolled on a PVP server. If you had rolled PVE, you could have enjoyed the race to open up AQ and the progression of Sunwell. On a PVP server, its just gankfest central.
Try rolling on a PVE server, and read the quests and see how they fit in the lore, then maybe you can make a judgment.

... is that when the Grays came and manipulated our society the genetic changes worked better with the 'modern' human gene then the Neanderthal. The Neanderthal experiment was terminated as a failure and allowed to die out while our gene line survived.
The intelligence of Neanderthals is not necessarAlso homosapiens were likely to have been more vengeful and fielded a larger group to pursue and Neanderthals after a hunting party skirmishes, which initially the Neanderthals might have won and collected their prize of long pig only to be latter pursued by a far larger group combative homospaiens.
Hitler DID know about our A-Bomb. They didn't know as much as Stalin, but the knew were were close. Stalin had spies at Los Alamos. The Nazi's just knew we had the project, which was more than the American public knew.
And as far using a radio transmitter, its a cakewalk to jam a local frequency, just by using a more powerful transmitter on the same frequency as the original signal.
Um.. no.. alot of people knew about the Manhattan Project.
The Germans knew about it, the Japanese knew about it, Stalin knew about it.
About the only people who didn't know about it was the American public, because back then, keeping a secret for national security reasons meant something. If that would have occurred today, then it would have been all over CNN and MSNBC in seconds.
And alot of people knew about D-Day... the Germans KNEW it was coming, but they didnt know when. And besides, the weather was crappy at Normandy and Rommel didn't believe the invasion was going to happen right then because of the weather in the Channel was bad.
Also, to compare wartime operations from 60+ years ago when it took hours if not days to find out what was happening on the other side of the world to a modern conspiracy is naive. Its not like someone could have picked up a phone in the UK and said "Hey Erwin, I think the Allies are coming, they just launched all there airplanes". Phone calls had to manually routed in those days, and during wartime, all those were monitored.
But... how do you explain the firefighters repeatedly telling people to move back, the building is "coming down" and the building is "about to blow up"? This, before any other sign of collapse? Remember... they had been taken out of the building hours before.
Hmmm.. maybe because of the fact that 2 other buildings nearby have collapsed and WTC7 was known to contain thousands of gallons of diesel fuel and was in an uncontrolled blaze?
Either apply some common sense or get back on your medication.
you are still contending that the fact that fuel burning at 1400+ degrees (300 more than the point where steel loses half of its load-bearing capacity.. a know fact by any structural engineer) is a fantasy, but that the buildings were taken down by a controlled demolition, which would have taken thousands of hours of planing, used up thousands of charges placed at exact points on each structure, would need a crew of several hundred working for weeks just to place(and not one has come forward in 7 years), and it was all orchestrated by a government led by George W Bush... the man who can not pronounce nuclear... that that explanation is the most likely?
Its called Occam's Razor... paraphrased it is "All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best."
So which is simpler.. the thermal expansion of steel kicked in, or a conspiracy of thousands led by a simpleton not only succeeded, but has remained COMPLETELY undetected for years, despite countless investigations and scrutiny?
he warns that unless there is a full-blown investigation by an independent panel established solely for that purpose, "the World Trade Center fire and collapse will amount to paper- and computer-generated hypotheticals."
Good Job quoting a political hit piece as a source. I am sure that your 9/11 truther nut job membership card is in the mail along with the complementary tinfoil hat.
BTW, that fire-proof coating is only designed to withstand those temperatures for a hour or so maximum. After that, the heat has begun to transfer to the steel which expands which in turn creates fissures in the coating which allows more heat to reach the steel faster which causes the steel to lose its load bearing ability.
No, it does not make it okay in my book (as much as I love the Brits). I AM opposed to all immigration. America may have been founded on immigration, but the world is a different place and we are not trying to fill up an entire country anymore. Its hard enough for us native born American's to achieve the "American Dream", but to let more people in to compete as well is not good. Call me selfish, but that is my opinion.

So how about a Mod down to Troll for this A-Hole.

YOU ARE NOT PREPARED....
Arthas is in WOLK... not Illidan.
Illidan Stormrage has been telling us we are not prepared for the last year, even after we kicked his horny butt and took his nice shiny warglaives :)
I think thats a little high.. try 5%... that would be 500,000 players...
You will be back. Same thing happened when LOTRO launched, and the majority of those players came back.
I didnt lose The Game, he is on Smackdown now.
You are not Prepared.... ...but I am, thanks to Sunwell runs...

(putting away the tinfoil hat, now)
Actually, they did, but there was a foul up in the paperwork, so they were buried in the Fjords of Africa.
Its the drop bears that you you have to watch out for there...
nasty little buggers.

Ahh, Long Pig...
the other white meat. :)

Equal Rights for Pluto! Pluto is a planet, too.
Um.. no.. read the stuff from Project PaperClip.

I think flying airliners into steel framed skyscrapers is a pretty damned unique occurance.
And there has been steel stuctures collapsing because of fire before...

so let me get this straight....
you are still contending that the fact that fuel burning at 1400+ degrees (300 more than the point where steel loses half of its load-bearing capacity.. a know fact by any structural engineer) is a fantasy, but that the buildings were taken down by a controlled demolition, which would have taken thousands of hours of planing, used up thousands of charges placed at exact points on each structure, would need a crew of several hundred working for weeks just to place(and not one has come forward in 7 years), and it was all orchestrated by a government led by George W Bush... the man who can not pronounce nuclear... that that explanation is the most likely?

Kind of crazy what those Democrats will do to start a war....
Do they mean to say that a fire can cause a [fireproofed steel-core] building to collapse?
It sure surprised the editor in chief of Fire Engineering magazine, but what does HE know, huh?
he warns that unless there is a full-blown investigation by an independent panel established solely for that purpose, "the World Trade Center fire and collapse will amount to paper- and computer-generated hypotheticals."

Its simple physics.
M.U.L.E.
Oh how I miss those days.. I wasted hours upon hours of time playing M.U.L.E., Pirates!, and Mail Order Monsters...
