    Why did you settle for the "Angelic White" model and not the "Empire Black?"

    I am not going into the usual ad hominem attacks other slashdotters have resorted to regarding insecurities and compensations but why is white not a manly color to you. A lot of geeks these days are toting white Macbooks (if they haven't replaced it yet with the new generation) and I don't see them insecure about the color.

    The only reason why I have the black version of the MSI Wind is that white is a tough color to keep clean, especially with my hyperhidrosis, but other than that I do not have problems with it.

    The only reason why I dual boot on my MSI Wind is that MS Office is still better than OpenOffice when it comes to the image-heavy documents I manipulate/edit/create. Other than that, yes, Linux is a must on any netbook.

    The Philippines. Read up on the Spanish-American War and the aftermath of that. Iraq was by no means the first. Because of their meddling, every Filipino now thinks that the American culture is superior further destroying their own.

    Even though this has gotten off-topic, you can blame it all on David Myers. He wrote my social psychology textbook.

    On the other hand, there usually is an adaptive reason for bystander apathy in the distress-on-the-street scenario. It's more trouble than the perceived benefits are worth, unless you're John McCain or Barack Obama.

    Ah. I am wrong then. Yes, the social psychology textbooks are to blame for this.

    I should get back to you on research that is based on actual, sound field methodology (I believe the one where the researchers actually pretended to collapse on a sidewalk, I just forgot who did it.).

    "Non-invasive" in medical terms is when you do not have to open up the body and/or insert/implant foreign objects. Surgery to remove a hyperfunctioning thyroid gland is an invasive procedure. Taking radioiodine to ablate it is not.
