No one is forcing you or anyone else to eat the whole plate full of food at a restaurant. Split the meal in half, eat one side and take home the rest. It's not that hard, folks.
I have two Ford trucks and several motorcycles. The trucks come out when I need to haul stuff/take someone (like my daughter) somewhere. The bikes are for commuting. My current commute is about a 50 mile round trip. With my motorcycles, that's about a gallon of fuel a day versus 4 in my larger vehicles. Plus I'm an automatic HOV here, and the I495 Express Lanes are free for motorcycles.
I dream of a truly smart car that prevents the drivers from doing stupid shit while driving, like making that left turn in front of me while I'm riding my motorcycle.
A better way is to pop the top off the drive, pack the inside with tannerite, seal it back up, shoot from a distance. If you have enough drives and tannerite, you can make a party out of it!
This is part of a vast, left-wing conspiracy to rid the nation of the so called "fly over" country and its citizens, thereby keeping the current "leadership" in place. Since they won't be prepared, the ensuing earthquake will render "Middle America" unlivable and force those from the middle of the US to the coastal areas and force them into Welfare.
But others, such as the ETC group, an environmental and social advocacy group, fear simply blocking the sun is a bandage, meant to cover up the problem, and allow humans to continue using fossils fuels. Another fear is that geo-engineering, as techniques like this are called, could have unforeseen consequences on the weather, ecosystem and agriculture.
Wow, so let's block research to prevent knowledge. Because information is evil. And we don't agree with this line of thinking, so let's ban it. Hypocrites.
You are assuming mechanical problems, not software problems. Everything is electronic in these vehicles. So even if you slapped the car into neutral doesn't mean the car will go into neutral.
...Honda 4 cylinder engine. It probably took 3 minutes to get up to 55mph...
Is that how people justify the waste their bring, for no good reason?
You have obviously never tried to get on a US Highway while that UPS double trailer truck was barreling down the road at 60+ mph in the lane you are trying to get in. I used to drive a 1979 Chevette. Getting up to speed on the highway was a nightmare.
It's nice to see Mr. Gates being so active in his retirement. After running Microsoft for so long, running the US Military must be a nice break for him. It looks like he's using his business acumen to streamline the military. I'm still surprised he's lasted this long, though.
A better idea would be sending up robots to our Moon and having them build out habitats. When we get around to sending some people up there, they can just walk in to the new buildings and yell, "Lucy, I'm home!"
In the unlikely event that we start sending stuff to Mars, someone could send up a bunch of these robots to build bases to human sized proportions and test out the equipment before humans arrive.

Second link doesn't work.
I might get to see it this year. Last year weather was horrible here, couldn't see a thing in the sky except clouds.
And if you do manage to lock yourself out you have to head to one of the CAC issuing offices to get it reset. Learned that the hard way.
Too bad you used IE to post this or you would have spelled rumor correctly in the title.

Get a motorcycle.
I didn't know Al Bundy was on Sasuke!

I found it easily enough and she thanked me afterward!

Cindy Crosby is a whiny crybaby. Plus he's Canadian. Alex Ovechkin is missing a front tooth and is a better player and dates better looking women.
Will do anything to cross the border. I wonder how much pot was in that thing?

I would prefer a horny Naiad, but that's just me.
The SCOTUS also threw out the Chicago Gun Ban. So the Second Amendment applies to state and local governments, too.
It's the top of the tree fort they're building for him. Too bad he has to be dying to get this.

But eventually, robots will be autonomous and able to service themselves.
So we're going to get them to masturbate? Wow, science is advancing at a faster rate than anticipated!

Genius (and as much as I disagree with a lot of what he has to say, he is a genius) is often tortured. And arrogant.
Yes, we are.
