    No one is forcing you or anyone else to eat the whole plate full of food at a restaurant. Split the meal in half, eat one side and take home the rest. It's not that hard, folks.

    I have two Ford trucks and several motorcycles. The trucks come out when I need to haul stuff/take someone (like my daughter) somewhere. The bikes are for commuting. My current commute is about a 50 mile round trip. With my motorcycles, that's about a gallon of fuel a day versus 4 in my larger vehicles. Plus I'm an automatic HOV here, and the I495 Express Lanes are free for motorcycles.

    A better way is to pop the top off the drive, pack the inside with tannerite, seal it back up, shoot from a distance. If you have enough drives and tannerite, you can make a party out of it!

    You are assuming mechanical problems, not software problems. Everything is electronic in these vehicles. So even if you slapped the car into neutral doesn't mean the car will go into neutral.

    You have obviously never tried to get on a US Highway while that UPS double trailer truck was barreling down the road at 60+ mph in the lane you are trying to get in. I used to drive a 1979 Chevette. Getting up to speed on the highway was a nightmare.

    It's nice to see Mr. Gates being so active in his retirement. After running Microsoft for so long, running the US Military must be a nice break for him. It looks like he's using his business acumen to streamline the military. I'm still surprised he's lasted this long, though.

    In the unlikely event that we start sending stuff to Mars, someone could send up a bunch of these robots to build bases to human sized proportions and test out the equipment before humans arrive.
