Another thing that bugs me about Apple. I bought the 12-inch not to be cheap, but becuase I wanted a small laptop that's easily transportable. But there are certain features such as PCMCIA that I might have wanted, but they are only available in the larger-sized models. I would have been willing to pay a bit more for these features, but I can't handle a laptop that won't fit in my backpack.
I'd call that a big mistake on Apple's part. My 2003 Powerbook should not be considered ancient, yet I would be forced to use USB 1.1 if I decided to "upgrade". Not cool, Apple. They saved, what, $10 by eliminating the chipset??
I was all set to buy one and get rid of my 3G until I found this out.
I might have been insterested in this if only it featured the real Spider-Man that's appearing in the comics. The Ultimate Spider-Man is based on an alternate universe, with many elements changed from actual continuity. I'll pass.
I don't see the appeal of racing to rock music. Thank god the X-box allows for custom soundtracks, so I can insert my more appropriately themed music instead. You defininely need some fast thumping bass for this game.
Will middle-clicking to oplen a link in a new tab ever show up in an official release for OSX? It's really retarded that I must rely on nightly betas in order to use this simple feature, in which case I can't use most of the plugins that made Firefox attractive to me in the first place. Very frustrating.
Well, then the Verizon girl lied even further, because Verizon also crippled their Treo 650, which is one of the "smartest" smartphones out there. I have the Cingular model, and a coworker had the Verizon version. She took a pic that she wanted to xfer to her machine, and I told her to just use Bluetooth. But she couldn't figure out how. We went back and forth about the proper steps, until I finally looked at her Treo, and I saw with my own eyes that selecting send on a picture goes immediately to the built-in email app, which of course uses SMS. My version gives me a dialog box asking if you want to use IR, Bluetooth, email, etc. A $600 phone and Verizon is still pulling this shit.
Now, there are 3rd party Palm apps which will let you do it (Filez is probably the best), but why the fuck should the customer have to jump through hoops like this?
MAC filtering is almost pointless though. With passive scanning, a person can still see what MAC addresses are xfreing "allowed" traffic and use that to spoof their way onto your LAN. Still not a bad idea to place another obstacle, but don't think that automatically protects you. WPA2 looks fairly robust enough to keep people out though.
No bugs left in older versions of OSX? Come on! Windows File browsing is still flakey in Tiger, and is almost useless in Jaguar. So when do you think Apple will get around to fixing it?
Nope - the subsequent episodes following the 20 year jump for the movie were mostly lackluster, but I'll never forget going to see the movie on Friday August 8, 1986 - the day it was released in the theater.
...Just got a Treo 650, which provides level 10 EDGE, and I get roughly 144Kbit speeds...and for $20/month unlimited. Pssh for PalmOS just got an upgrade, which added Zlib compession. Now my Treo is (almost) as useful as my Powerbook when it comes to being on call.
Nope. 12-inch Powerbooks lack the PCMCIA slot.

Yeah I'm sure they'd just love for me to replace my 2-year-old, almost $2000 laptop so I can buy their new iPod. But I'm not going to play that game.
I was considering buying their first Intel Powerbook, but now I'm not sure I will.

Well, I never said that *all* of the true continuity was good.....
It's just that essentially Ultimate Spider-Man is a completely different character than Spider-Man.

Wow - he even LOOKS like a douchebag!

Wait - that douchebag was a real guy????? I pity you folks in L.A. then. The first thing I did in B3 was shut him up in the settings.
Great - but that requires the use of 2 hands, whereas Firefox users on every other platform only needs one.
(no masturbation jokes please)
Yes - but how many of Firefox's popular themes and plugins are actually working for you?
Will middle-clicking to oplen a link in a new tab

I don't think there's any guarantee that the DRM can be easily stripped. Has anyone successfully removed DRM from WM 10 content yet?
Spare the sob story. Nobody FORCED you to have 3 kids....

TFA didn't seem to mention anything about it. I would hope that 2.12 can utilize X.org's native transparencies that have been present for months now.

Usually the hyphen is added when using "the", thus "The Bat-Man". That's how he was referenced in his early days.
What do you mean? It was the best Jack Kirby's Fourth World movie I ever saw....
Ummm...
Uh....wha??
You sure you are not talking about the Power Rangers?
Nope - the subsequent episodes following the 20 year jump for the movie were mostly lackluster, but I'll never forget going to see the movie on Friday August 8, 1986 - the day it was released in the theater.
Great - does this mean that we will soon see a firmware update for their own Airport Extreme/Express devices to add AES support?
Maybe not, but it works, and there's really no way for them to know. Data is data.
