    Linux still needs some work in the area of user friendlyness.
    Now, most of it is because of lack of native support, but some of it is by design.

    Really, most of the community is focused on the core of linux. Very few people have concerned themselves with user experience, as the assumption has been that most people using linux are savvy enough to figure things out for themselves.

    I hate to say it- but Its been creeping up on me the last few months. Were we wrong about Obama?

    I supported him during the campaign, and I expected that when he went into office, things would start to change for the better.

    I know that things take time, but so far- what have we done? Given a shitload of money to AIG and raised taxes for people with $250,000 and more annual income?

    We're still in Iraq. Guantanamo is still there. What has changed?

    I'm sorry, Am I not supposed to be viewing violence as an adult male? I can understand mandates for them to put warning labels and such, for parents, but why the hell would It be reasonable to tax this?
    What is our government now? The mafia? Seriously. They are essentially saying "Hey, look, we like you, but you're in trouble. Now, if you make sure we're taken care of, nothing bad will happen to you."

    When did this become the job of the state?

    Well, of course it all depends on what you like to watch, but really id much rather be watching independent youtube videos than a big budget movie that is just the same story done over and over and over and over.
    Now, i'm going to be killed for saying this- but look at batman. It has been remade SOOOO many times, and sure, each revision is a bit better. But it is just the same story over and over and over.
    My personal tastes dictate to me that I do not want to know how the story ends. I'm very tired of remakes.

    Okay now that i've said the obligatory- id like to point out that Apple is JUST as much a big, heartless corporation as microsoft. They are in this for money, and they would make 90% of moves microsoft made, they just were beaten to the punch. So, even if they make nice products, they aren't necessarily nice people.

    You're right, I didn't actually want a definition of it, but I wasn't saying it was used incorrectly.
    I am just pointing out that it is a ridiculously ambiguous word that really has no specific meaning.
