    Wrong. Some do extended surface read-write-scans and offer options like disk erase etc. Like this here for example.

    PHP has been applied to many large scale development projects, demonstrating that you are incorrect.

    Argumentum ad populum? It has been applied, but the GP said that it still isn't suitable.

    PHP apps often look like this, and just because many people in the world do it that way, it doesn't mean that it's good.

    Which major company uses PHP? Google? Youtube? Amazon?

    The only one I know is Wikipedia, and they are lucky to be able to cache most content.

    KDE4.2 is rumored to be better, but I haven't tried it yet. But I doubt it.

    This is how customer support should work. Posting on slashdot!

    I have 2x500Gb and 1x1000Gb drives installed now, running for ~18 Months, without any trouble yet, unlike various WD drives I had in the past years.

    Maybe I will buy a new Seagate in a few months, depending on how this pans out.

    While this is true, and I am generally happy with their return policy, it's worth mentioning that you have to pay the shipping costs if the price is below a certain limit. It's 40 Euros for amazon.de in Germany and I guess most of Belkins products are probably cheaper than that.

    I guess it has something to do with the interface. Often, you have to click on the stars to make the rating, so you have to click on the first star to give the lowest rating.

    Same goes for Youtube as well.

    Depending on the amount of traffic that worm generates, it might even be worth it.

    Maybe you are kidding yourself? Data from the IRS say that in 2006, the top 1% contributed 40% of the tax income and the top 5% paid 60%.

    Which explains why they want to go somewhere else.
