How do you propose to turn a pirate into a customer?
As long as there are venues where pirates can do what they do, the music industry can never make those potential sales.
It's not really his physical appearance that matters, it's if they make him an interesting character with depth as opposed to a flat character like in the old movie.
it was one of the very few moments in the film when Bale was actually allowed to act
growl and skulk about like some kind of grumpy idealist gone bad.
The character of Batman is not one where an actor gets to flex his acting skills like you seem to pine for. Hate to break it to ya, but Batman is a grumpy idealist, and he's supposed to growl and sulk. Just because the director didn't give Bale a chance to do a sililoque doesn't mean the movie was written badly. You're asking the movie to be something it's not supposed to be.
I'm satisfied that two-face died.
I'd really like to see a fresh villian in the next batman movie.
Two-face is seriously played out. Let's see a villian who hasn't been in a lot of movies previously, like Penguin.
I've come to the same realization concerning my facebook account. There was an article previously (that I can't find) on your online appearance. Basically, what will someone see if they google your name?
My facebook account is number three on the results, so I made a resolution to clear my page of anything that an employer would object to. Also I'm facebook friends with a couple of my coworkers so that's another concern.
If your opinion is that you don't like Final Fantasy, then I respect that. I realize they are an aquired taste.
But to compare the Final Fantasy series, which are the best made games in the industry, to something like McDonald's or Budweiser, which have no love in their craft and are truly LCD, is just plain wrong.
Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it has to be lowering its level of quality to achieve that popularity.
I doubt they'll do a multi-disc approach. It may have been acceptable in the time of the Playstation but now it doesn't seem very vogue to not be able to fit all your content on one disc.
Also there's definitly no chance they'll forgo cutscenes alltogether.
I would assume they'll just dumb down the graphics.
Gran Turismo is much too realistic for my tastes. Buying a used car was difficult enough for me thank you very much!
I don't know much about Killzone but it seems like a generic shooter, plus shooters on consoles suck (with the exeption of Halo, which somehow pulled it off).
I haven't heard of the third. You've got my attention, now make your sale!
The problem is that people know that not leaving their keys in the ignition is a no-brainer. What they don't know is how to be safe online, because it's not as intuitive.
"Game Mode" so I can turn off the resource hogging of my OS and run a game? NO! Pay attention! I want the OS to not hog resources.
I think you're misunderstanding the article, he isn't saying "game mode" would turn down the OS, he's saying that "game mode" would manage applications better. Most geeks are able to do this already, but the average user doesn't know what the hell is running on his computer at any time.
That was the main theme of most of the article. He didn't address the problems of the OS in paticular (although it does need to be addressed), he addressed how the OS would manager programs to put less strain on the OS and teh computer as a whole.
The current motion sensing is pretty bad, it flinches alot, it jumps around, it felt added on
I've been pretty happy with it, sometimes the bar won't be set up right or the batteries will run low, but when everything is working like it's supposed to, it is fine.
I think the problem is that developers are still learning how to use it well. Example: Red Steel was so hard to control, and not really fun becuase they couldn't harness the motion sensor well.
Well the "Shoot it" line was more leaning towards the character development of Hellboy realizing he is one-of-a-kind and doesn't paticularly fit in with humans, much like the tree elemental. The elf said "it is last of its kind, just like us" or something like that.
I disagree with your sarcasm, I think that the environment theme was subtle enough. I never felt like it was being pushed down my throat at least...
eco-terrorist plot? Did we watch the same movie?
I loved the CGI, but i guess i went into the theatre wanting different things in a movie than you did. While I disagree with your review, I urge you to check out pan's labyrinth, it has the same del toro feel, but it doesn't try to be a blockbuster like hellboy 2, its deeper and if you like magical interesting movies i think it might be worth your precious precious time.
I'd disagree. I loved to play Combat Flight Simulator 2 when I was young, and that taught me about angle-of-attack, airfoils, and the like. By experimenting with the realism settings I could learn about gravity and what sorts of stress airplanes could handle before they stopped working properly.
My point being, if you're interested in science, you can find ways to excite this interest, no matter what you're doing. A kid not interested in science is going to play outside and throw rocks, a kid interested in science will build a model airplane. A kid not interested in science will play Halo (or insert pet peeve stupid video game...there are alot), a kid interested in science will find an interesting stratedy game or something worth his time.
Well he did it. And even got kicked out of Urban Outfitters. Edgy!

You have a very idealist view of humanity if you think people can be taught to not cheat.

I personally can't stand the 1989 Batman film. I love Tim Burton but I felt like his style in that film was gaudy.

Pluto isn't within the range in which liquid water can exist on it, because it's too cold. These planets seem (or seemed) to be in the range.

And does he have the sufficent knowledge to be making and backing up these crazy suggestions?

Get off the couch every 10 hours?! Heavens forbid! Microsoft has screwed me again!

That's a pretty slim list Sony. Seriously, are you even trying?
Thanks for explaining it in an understandable way. When put that way it isn't so crazy.
But you still can't trust to RIAA to not bend it around.
They're trying to prove that if you put an unpatched windows computer on the internet, it will get pwned mercilessly!
So...don't!

Maybe in an election where i don't care, but i care about this one, so i want my vote to count.
"then i'd say that thats a sign of 'emotionally challengedness' in the form of weak empathy capability."
No I'd say that's a sign of being human.
