I didn't mention the Turin test, though I am familiar with it, as well as being far more familiar with the small details of Alicia Vikander than I expected. That is just the definition that I learned in the late 80s and it was even still used that way in the mid 90s. I guess the invasion of non-nerds into the internet has destroyed the original phrase.
They are xenophobic views. Just because someone who identifies as a conservative has them, does not make them conservative themselves. They're pretty extremist, which defies the term conservative as it is.
Well you could design a computer to assist you, to understand what you say and learn, but not show personality flaws inherent to humans (which would have to be intentionally added). That would be intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is a term coined to represent a computer that can fool you into thinking it is a person.
This is why I've resorted to buying licensed third party, such as Anker brand. That way you know it isn't Apple, but you know it is certified by Apple, and often half the price and better designed. I love the braided lightning cable I use now. And I know it isn't a knock-off.
An AI isn't an AI if it appears perfect. It has to appear human, thus is intentionally flawed. I don't think people know that AI refers to a computer that is indistinguishable from a human.
Well, AI as I stated, is designed to have human flaws. But if you simply let a computer with the same processing power make the decisions without the intentional flaws, then it wont make "emotional" choices that an AI would make. I disagree with the terms good and bad. A "bad AI" would be one that cannot convince you that it is human from a technical standpoint.
Artificial Intelligence is a computer that can trick a person into thinking it is a real person. That means it has to have as many flaws as a real human as well. If you were going to put a piece of software with intentional human flaws in charge of something, then that is a fairly big mistake. I would rather put an intelligent computer, rather than an AI, in charge of making decisions. That will reduce the risk of very bad decisions being made.
My daughter and I have PDD, which was added to the spectrum in 2012. It has a range, but it is generally a bit higher functioning than Asperger's, and my daughter and I seem to have a great deal more empathy than both people with Asperger's and neuro-typical people. Just an interesting observation. If it wasn't inherited the odds of us both having the same one would be pretty far out, although obviously not impossible.
Reminds me of the people who pay a fortune for digital cables that pass the 1s and 0s no better than the cheap cables (not referring to how quality affects it over a great distance). And then I'm reminded of the people who would convert their 128kps MP3s to 160kps and imagine they hear an improvement.
Except it clearly states that it uses separate hardware for the old and new style games. The old PS4 hardware for old games, and new/patched games turned off the PS4 hardware and the PS4 Pro hardware turns on.
It sounds a lot like the original PS3 that could play PS2 games natively. Just with further enhanced capability to adapt the games through what is probably not a simply tweak, so not all older games will get the update. I like the idea a lot.
Trump is a conservative? That's a riot. I know he's a Republican (today), but he doesn't hold very conservative views.
That's a strawman argument. The posts in question were more about banning Muslims.

You're almost a week late on this, but sure.

Right, you could call it artificial intelligence, just not Artificial Intelligence.

I would mod you up if I hadn't created this thread.
Good one AC. No, I just am aware of the definition that I did not create in any way.
They've been fighting this for years. There are tech articles about Amazon working to combat this going back a ways.
That is a terrible analogy. AI is a phrase that has a meaning. A smart computer is not AI.
That's clearly a lie, as the third party licensed cables are readily available and much cheaper than the real Apple products.
Alright AC, good one. AI is a computer that makes humans think that it is human also.

Yeah, I did mean kbps. Increasing the bitrate would actually make the file sound worse, as it is being re-encoded.

Yeah, compared to coal mining the difference is staggering.

It is a shame that since I created this thread that I cannot mod you up.

And I laugh as a deployed active duty USAF member. Hahahah, no.
