The linked patch only fixes the primary vulnerability. There is an additional trailing string processing vulnerability (CVE-2014-7169) that is fixed by using the patch posted here.
There was a patch released by Red Hat a few hours ago, and I recompiled bash with it. It seems the above issue has been fixed.
This is the output I get now:
bash: X: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `='
bash: X: line 1: `'
bash: error importing function definition for `X'
echo: ERROR: cannot open `echo' (No such file or directory)
vulnerable: ERROR: cannot open `vulnerable' (No such file or directory)
cat: file: No such file or directory
Why are they present mostly in the galactic halo? Also, stars like SM0313 are supposed to have formed only a 100mn or so years after the Big Bang. Is that enough time for Population III stars to have formed and gone supernova?
only reason the filthy Ganges river has not destroyed the Seychelles & other pristine reefs nearby/quote
The Ganges-Brahmaputra delta is over 5000 kms away from Seychelles. The only "nearby" reefs are in the Andaman islands (still a distance of over 1200 kms).
I get a feeling that overt nationalism is quite frowned upon in Germany. I have had a few German colleagues in the past who refused to even sing their national anthem. So while it is reasonably correct to assume that Germans are loyal to they own country, I don't think national pride would come in the way of Klinsmann's professionalism.
. . . then-MPAA chairman and CEO Dan Glickman said . . . "the dogs are some of the greatest employees we have here at the MPAA"
You know what, I totally believe that the guy was speaking the truth. I mean, the characteristics possessed by the average dog puts it fair and square above an MPAA employee.
Does there come a time in a nerd's life when s/he just doesn't care about yet another "origins" story?

. . . pissed on a dictionary and strung together whatever didn't get wet.
Is there an app for this?
You would also need a good motor drive to track such a fast moving object.
Internet speeds, which are increasing 50% every year
Maybe you have access to those speeds. Not everyone does. I'm stil stuck (and there are many in the same boat) with 0.5 Mbps DSL for the past 5 years.
You'll get left in the dust sticking with IPv4
I've already been left in the dust, desire for adopting new tech notwithstanding.
Is that a standard unit of measure now? What are the conversion factors?
It's a hexagonal prism, albeit not regular. So it may be called a plesiohedron?
Every bloody thing is a security threat these days, requiring it to be tackled secretly. Our very existence seems to be a national security threat.
Nobody here believes your cock-and-ball story.

But remember the design specification was 3 months not 10 years
Curiosoty mission was designed to last a whole Martian year, or 23 Earth months. So it was intended to be "multi-year"

Why? Aren't there other modes of travel available? Or is the virus too snooty to travel via road and would instead prefer to be airborne?
Cyan.

Surely the CIA and NASA have learnt to use e-mail by now.
Birds evolved from dinos, while reptiles and dinos evolved from a common ancestor.
Ad homonym attacks are just plain dumb.
I must remember to wear sunglasses the next time I read your comments.

I think your hereing abilities have been impaired. The phrase is "hear hear"
. . . its just habbit
Is a Hobbit's domesticated pet rabbit called a habbit?
Well, lignite does have high sulphur content, but anthracite is expensive (and also produces more CO2), and producing coking coal requires peteroleum.
Don't call me Shirley.
