    About 11 years ago, I got so sick of my relatives getting me clothes for Christmas that I declared that if anyone every got me clothes again, I'd reward when with an NRA membership next Christmas.

    I have a family full of Democrats, I never got clothes from them again.

    After all, I'd imagine that over time they could make the batteries fairly compact in size - I'm not talking AAA but perhaps big flashlight-battery sized of perhaps at least managable.

    Even that would require some quantum leaps in chemistry and battery tech.

    Seriously, 3dfx got their asses stomped by nVidia. nVidia was putting out faster cards and comparable prices and even though 3dfx cards were rock solid stable, they couldn't compete anymore.

    The result is that our government is now pursuing a Free Trade Agreement with China, because the US won't speak to us. I'm not sure which is worse.

    Simple. China is worse.

    My country perpatrates all kinds of Bullshit all over the globe, but we don't execute political prisoners and sell their organs like China does. We don't employ the use of slave labor to produce export goods. We might talk all kinds of shit against and boycott, but we don't incarcerate those with subversive politics.

    What about the emotional and marriage problems it causes?

    I can speak first hand about this one.

    The ex-wife and I were watching a porno once. They were doing a threesome, she says "That would be fun."

    I'm like "Oh yeah? Well you know..."

    She cut me off and said "Oh! Not with you! I love you too much to share you."

    I nearly blew a gasket. I was SOOOOOOO mad.

    That moment was the beginning of the end for our relationship. No matter what else she ever said about it, nothing could erase those words from my memory.

    In the end, porn wasn't the cause our problems. Her unwillingness to satisfy my needs was. It merely took porno to bring it to light.

    • You have just nailed it. These people seek to exert control of all behavior by controlling access to pain relief and pleasure.

      All drugs that are really worth anything are strictly controlled. They now wish to control sexuality. It's a ploy, and a weak one at that.

    The same olfactory nerve cells responsible for the sense of smell will send "a sharp sense of pain" to the brain if, for example, you take a big whiff of dry ice. Lung tissue will react the exact same way.

    Breathing ANY gas that cold will result in the perception of pain.

    It need not offend the darwinists since our evolution still could have occurred according to his posited algorithm, just at a slower or quicker pace.

    If modern humans existed before the emergance of those that evolutions posits we descended from, it renders all of the "evidence" of human evolution moot.

    It need not offend the creationists since He might have placed the bones in the coal in accordance with His wisedom.

    If they believe that all of creation is less than 20,000 years old, a two million year old modern human destroys their assumptions.

    When WON was shut down I played CS 1.6 under the name "Steam Sucks My Balls" for about a month. Everyone who commented on that name agreed. Steam sucks ass.

    They'll learn from this experience to make the next big Steam-based release much smoother.

    If they don't alienate too many of their customers and go out of business before then.Or more likely, they'll get swallowed up by EA or Microsoft before they go under.
