You, sir, are absolutely sick. You want other people to have all their money taken from them to fund government programs that benefit you, and have their money given directly to you? Just because they have more money? What. the. fuck? And once they are the poor, are you going to willingly have your income forcibly taken and redistributed back to them? Redistribution is not economic justice. It is the opposite of justice. It is theft. Remember that.

I think I was wandering around Vault 106, searching for any valuable items that may have been left behind by the survivors of Vault-Tec's experiments. Turns out, I didn't find anything particularly useful.

Exactly. The group that made Portal started out with a little project called Narbacular Drop. It was a rough looking project (I think for school) but it nicely demonstrated the concept of portals. Valve apparently hired the team on the spot when they saw the demo, and that has worked out very well for the team. If you can, code a demo, or find someone to code for you while you provide art and direction.

There's a handy new invention that just hit the market a few years back. They call it a refrigerator. It's really good at storing left-overs so you can eat again tomorrow. Then they have microwaves and ovens for making the left-overs hot again. Amazing what they come up with, huh?

Of course, seriously (not) - WHY DID YOU GET A COMPSCI DEGREE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PROGRAM???

Well, in my case, by the time I really understood that I hated coding, it was too late to change to something else. Staying even another semester or year of school to make up classes for a different degree when you have no money to do so is just not an option. I ended up in a system/network administration position with a small/mid size business, and this is the kind of work I can do. I just wish I had seen it earlier.
