    You can also get copper tape to shield the inside. The best stuff is the copper tape that also has conductive adhesive.

    I've never used the stuff on a computer... but I have used it on lots of guitars.

    You haven't lived until you've had the Meeting on Meetings. These basically consist of some exec talking for about 40 minutes about the structure of meetings meanwhile not following his own advice. The meeting concludes with an extra hour of a video about meetings.

    Oh and the first rule of meetings is to 'Keep it under an hour.'

    The Code 'not being accessible' is very realistic. There are many places that have offline networks for coding and separate insecure locations to browse the web. Some even go as far as to not allow you to bring in storage devices or storage media into the secure networked areas.

    Nothing is wrong with counting, but a Casino is a business. Any business has the right to deny sales to whomever they choose.

    Most Casinos are not starving for customers. So, of coarse they would rather have some sucker sitting at the table.

    I also have Verizon wireless, I aggree the coverage is great.. i havn't had any trouble (midwest => California)

    I have had alot of problems with their customer service. It seams that during sign up if the agent types in your social security number wrong your account gets flagged as possible identity theft which merits a $500+ deposit.

    The software industry is composed of more than just word processors and games.

    There are bussiness apps, defense apps, simulations, etc. Think of AirForce combat simulators for instance. They keep many people in the "software industry" employed.

    So, maybe we're as far as we can get with word processors and games, but so what ? Who wants to work on a word processor forever ?

    I hope you plan on keeping the coding up during your extra schooling. Otherwise, you will just be a semester behind in experience too.

    I graduated this time last year.. and it seams that the graduate state of mind is very similar to what it was last year. No, your not going to have recruiters tracking you down like telemarketers. But, the industry is not dead either.

    If you were in it to come out making 80K+ while working a 40 hour week... then you'll probably end up dissapointed. Otherwise, if your a code junkie, you probably won't have much trouble finding a job that you enjoy.

    Is your degree worthless?... well thats really up to you.

    The paper / production cost and postage dosn't stop those people who mail me flyers every week.

    Why then would a $.01 email tax work ? Even at that cost it would still be the cheapest and most effecient way to advertise.

    Maybe we should start taxing /. posts to cut down on the trolls.

    Maybe Microsoft is just looking for some free labor. It wouldn't hurt to have 10K+ students looking for and fixing bugs, pro bono.
