  1. States exercise their power when Feds step aside. on Minnesota Senate Votes To Bar Selling ISP Data (twincities.com) · · Score: 0

WOW - the federal government DOESN"T HAVE to DO EVERYTHING. The state's are using THEIR power. Liberal snowflakes, untwist your panties, all is well.

  2. Try a better path BSD - trueOS on Ask Slashdot: What's The Easiest Linux Distro For A Newbie? · · Score: 0

I have been frustrated by the 147 different distro's to pick from. Even within Mint there are various paths to go. Which one to pick? I gave up to be honest after trying about 7 different ones. I keep Kali on a VM for work/testing, but not a daily driver.

I have been using TrueOS, from trueos.org, recently and have to say it is a big step up. It is nice and clean, the install went smooth, and it has just worked with little to no touching in a VM and on stand alone hardware. In my case a MacBook Pro 2015. I give it two thumbs up. BSD is a well established OS and history. I would give it a try most definitely!!

So, bad to spy on terrorists, good to spy on citizens????? Or is it just good when Dems do it and bad when Repubs do it?

I think some lefty, looser, commie, pinkos need to take a look who and what they are trying to control.

Vote them all out of office and get some libertarians in there.

so some loser who has an a@#h013 - oh sorry an opinion, should have get xxx dollars for his (not to offend - HER) blog???

at least with the auto workers they actually produce a product we all need - TRANSPORTATION. Has anyone actually noticed that the entertainment writers are on strike????? (if you have time to turn off the tube for at least one day) what pathetic and commie-red leftist do you have to be to think one can really get away with this? If they were to strike ("bloggers" that is) who would suffer?

OH MY GOD - I can't read about tech news! Where would they walk their picket lines - in front of their house???? HAHAHA

If the AFL/CIO is really this desperate ( or whoever is sponsoring this nonsense), maybe people should take a REALISTIC view of what a union actually DOES for people - except line the UNION's own pockets with union dues.

There are some people out there that really have to study at least a little history and figure this shit out.

If you buy into this - SUCKER!!!!!!!!! and you will get what you deserve.

so people are all bent out of shape that the GOVT is using data-mining, but it is ok for the big corps to do it?????

i think people should get their heads on straight and not just rail against the govt for this. it is something done by every major company. DUH! Unless you pay cash for EVERYTHING people know what you are up to and use that information to their advantage. Blows my mind you will get pissed off at the govt (OH yeah forgot pissed at GW Bush) but not at the corps in general.
