In your small town with one coffee shop, what are the odds that the place has wifi, free or otherwise? Being a bit dim on this wifi usage subject, is there a charge that must be paid by the shop after installing wifi? And if the charge is based on usage, how is the usage calculated? If kindles are high-end users of this signal, then is that the reason to ban them? Need to know.

Do you know what it would cost to move the China wall over here? I am sure that Boeing could transport it but who could we get to pack it onto the planes? How about all those border crossers? They are looking for work anyway. This would take dozens of years to take down and ship. Then dozens of years to unpack and put back up. So for maybe 25-35 years, we would have no border problems. And just think how much sand and stuff it would take to rebuilt the wall. Well, I want the photo concession and the Tour The New China Great Wall of America concession as well. Of course we'd probably have to subsidize the looming China Border wars that would happen at about the same time.

Sadly, the reason is that textbook publishers only want to print one American History book for the 7th grade (or 1st grade or 8th grade) in America. Not 50 versions of history – one for each state. Texas is the only state that sees fit to have its state school board do this kind of revision work on an ongoing year-by-year basis. So the publishers default to the Texas work for the rest of the nation.
