The 'convergence or confluence' theory was confirmed later in the day by a former spacecraft designer, who declined to be named but is familiar with both programs, who confided unequivocally: "The space shuttle's payload bay was sized to accommodate the KH-9."
The Misty satellite is believed to have been derived from the KH-11, but modified to make it invisible to radar, and hard to detect visually. The first Misty satellite, USA-53, was released by the Space Shuttle Atlantis on mission STS-36. The satellites are sometimes identified as KH-12s.
The dimensions of the Space Shuttle were specifically designed to carry large spy satellites. Many early scientific missions were spy missions in disguise. So NASA has been in bed with the intelligence complex for quite some time.
"What other OS quickly installs to an integrated shared filesystem, does cluster-wide isolation/sharing/balancing of most major system resources, and can move running applications from one node to another in a cluster with almost no impact?"
Sounds like you are describing VMS. VMware moves operating system instances, not applications.
Also, they can't deduct expenses from their revenue for tax purposes. So, basically, they have to pay the current tax rates on revenue, and not income.
It has later come out that root had no password, or some similar piece of downright negligence. I suspect that much the same will be shown to be true here.
There was no System 7, you are referring to R&D Unix Version 7, which System III was the commercial fork of. System V was really a fork off of R&D Unix Version 8.
When I was young, I used to listen to Radio Moscow, Radio Peking on shortwave radio, to get the perspective from the other side. Now I can just browse a website. Still, a lot of propaganda on all sides. The truth tends to lie somewhere in the middle.
I am afraid I am going to have to sue you for besmirching the reputation of fucking assholes.

With 40 year old engines.

pretty much accomplishes the same thing with even less overhead and without adding yet another layer of software.
gets in the way of all of our law enforcement efforts.
I have a mirrored set of SSD's on all my important machines, and RAID 6 for bulk storage.
Unlike Linus, I can't afford to lose work.
It is only treason when someone who is not in power does it.
after a large enough donation to the Mayor's campaign fund.

What a terrible name for this. Ken's title for his presentation was far more elegant and descriptive, "On Trusting Trust".
Ken's Hack was only a simple demonstration of this.
Would that happen to be Negativland? If so, one of the greatest examples of parody and fair use, ever.
There are plenty of older kernels being actively maintained. Stable does not equal recommended for all production needs.
They had mainframes before IBM did: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNIVAC, well before the days of Control Data, Prime, etc.

At least twice. I still laugh when I read it, and it has been there for how many years now?

You really mean have been able to pop corn from space since 1985. Though, I guess if it was flavored with enough diacetyl, that might kill someone.
As John Belushi showed us, the true breakfast of champions is little chocolate donuts.

Buying more bandwidth is out of the question is too expensive, but dropping a fortune on the hardware to do deep packet inspection is no problem.
It is the only way to be sure.
with a name like that, it must be good!
