Your brother works in my backyard, then. I live in Killdeer, ND. The town of Killdeer just recently saw a boost to its municipal funds thanks just to the water that we provide to the fields. I would LOVE to start a company to build out the electrical transmission infrastructure out here, but I get the feeling I'd "be in an accident" before too long.
Yeah, but in TA, that's hardly cheating, its simply the computer inputing commands as fast or faster than a human player can. Now, if your saying Core vs. Core, the same metal extractor placed on the same kind of metal point (they sometimes had different default values, IIRC) yielded higher rps, then yeah, but if they were just faster, all you have to do is keep up.
The intent of "Freedom of Religion" is actually meant as a protection against persecution based on your religious beliefs. Freedom of Speech is meant as a protection against persecution based on the expression of your beliefs, be they religious/political/socio-economical/what-have-you. The Individual members of a community have the right to say "I don't agree." The members of religious organizations have every right to say "WE don't agree." But when there is an attempt to use government endorsement or rejection of a specific group or belief-structure, that flies in the face of both letter and intent of the laws based on the Constitution of the United States.
Freedom of Religion MUST mean Freedom FROM Religion, or else one of the main tenets of our Constitution is being ignored.
And don't forget to RFID-chip your kids! We really do need to move to one currency, just to make things more expedient. Maybe if we start a massive cultural rebuild in the middle east, it will inspire peace in the region. Like, let's rebuild the temple of Babylon, while we're at it....and to think, the theft of copper is the oft-overlooked 5th horseman of the Apocalypse.
For those of you who can't recognize sarcasm when you see it, please hit yourself in the head with a tack hammer, because you are a retard.
At first I thought it was someone at the factory uploading malware, until I found out it was supposed to be a demonstration of "a mini-html" page, and found it showing up on other switches and routers when disconnected from the internet. Still, the included banner ad WAS for setting up an adult personals site.
When did you get out? INFOSEC, COMSEC, and just general OPSEC were defined fairly well by about 2 years ago. While I agree that not everyone knew WHY we had such stringent regulations, the Comm Squadron guys I worked with had a fairly good grip on the underlying protocols. In fact, just working in the same general office area near them is how I wound up with my current IT job.
Not a lot to do in Flight Admin, so I wound up helping reformat old PC's and learning Active Directory, since it sort of tied into my job, anyway.
Actually, it's more like putting together the Galactic Explorer out of legos, except your little brother got into your room and now 1/3 of the pieces are missing, and half the pages from the instruction booklet are now located in different rooms of the house, and you have to wander around looking for them all, or at least ask other people in the house if they know where to find what you're looking for, and you find everything but the one 6-peg piece you need to hold the whole thing together and page 7, so you have to improvise with the pink piece from your sister's collection, and rely on your past legoing experience to fix the problem without adequate instruction. Also, your mom just yelled at you because she told you to clean your room two days ago, which you did, but again... your little brother got into your stuff and scattered everything around.
Holy Shit, I just realized I've been doing IT-work since I was 6...

But then again, that game was 12 years ago.
So you're saying there are idiots on both sides of the argument who ruin the discussion for the rest of us? What a remarkable possibility.

...or the fact that Christ was born in April.
Yeah, I know him. His name is Steve, and he's 4'8"...

Yeah, but if you explain the joke, you kill the comedy...
Not to split hairs or anything, but there's an "H" in "whiner".
Fair enough. That was right around the time I got out.

Too late.
The Air Force doesn't outsource IT. That's what the Comm Squadron is for.
When I was an airman, I used to be in charge of the hard drive sledgehammer.
Y'know... just in case the bomb dump got invaded.
Google's got a fighter jet...
A googol is a one with a hundred zeros.
I internet all the time.
Please don't talk about US Cristian history. It's boring.
Well, there's the Aqueduct. Oh, and sanitation. Roads. Medicine! medicine's a good one. A system of laws. Writing. Parliamentary government...
Clap...Clap...Clap...
Make no mistake, sir, you EARNED that slow clap.
