    But what's worse than this? I think this was the worst probably case scenario. Sever damage due to poor communication.

    Enough time? How do you know what's going on internally in their company? They might have real priorities that are higher than security believe it or not.

    I think the problem is the security guy did not due his duty to fully disclose and inform Kloxo of the seriousness and what he planned to do if they didn't satisfy his demands.

    Yea, that was a good site, with good medium level summaries of the technology going on in linux. I wished they maintain it or have someone make something like it.

    Its the important modules: mod_ssl, mod_php, mod_perl, and various others are not all thread safe.

    If you have the budget why not fund a project to make sure it doesn't stop being developed. This would make good use of that money and help everyone.

    Its because we want more drives. The more drives the fast the Disk IO. So as corporate storage size requirements increase so do demand to access to that size. One extra drive means one extra set of reads per second in most raid arrays. Another reason SCSI has had 10k and 15k longer than IDE too.

    Is PCI-e backwards compatible? If not, this makes a lot of sense why apple wants to use PCI-x. And as repeated many times on this thread, most apple users do not need 3D acceleration, so what else is coming out in PCI-e this year?

    Web-based games seem to be creeping up every where. Looks like GameCentral.Net is working on some type of web-based RPG too, called Legend of the Blue Dragon. Heh, Sound similar? Despite the name is not really like LORD at all. Seems to be in beta and you have to sign up for an account but its kinda fun.

    BSDL is definately free more free than GPL
    but living in a capital society, I'd have to say the GPL is more financially rewarding than the BSDL but it you can't make up your mind, just write your own license.
