    Personally I upgraded from an older Sinclair machine, the ZX81. Going from 1kb of memory to a C64 was the nearest thing that I could describe as geek bliss.

    don't have the huge burden of marketing costs associated with major developers, you don't have to pay a huge team, you don't have to box and ship your product.

    In short, there is no price erosion when your profit margin is actually higher per unit than the big publishers, even at 10% of the ticket price.

    Why do you trust Google more than the government? The government might leak the data and cause bad things, Google's whole aim to begin with is probably bad things.

    It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact companies tie achievements to their shitty multiplayer modes no one plays either, because it basically means if you are a completionist and like collecting achievements and don't get them on release week then they'll be permanently unobtainable a few weeks later.

    If you're a completionist and the online version of the game is that shitty, do you really *want* to be tortured by those extra hours of gameplay anyway?

    I know that unless I had a particularly game oriented version of OCD, that wouldn't be a problem for me.

    Actually, it seems that certain elements of the media are against him. Strangely, these seem to be the right wing, pro-strong government sections of the media. Especially those owned by Murdoch.

    Have a look at this game, the guy has ripped off Pacman... there is no doubt. I'm sorry, but he's pleading innocent when he's trying to profit off an established product. Not only that, he's tried to ride their coat-tails by including "pac" in the title. I'm all for fighting bad DMCA notices but this one has been targeted appropriately and andriodstevep should be ashamed of himself for trying to so blatantly rip off an existing product.

    The R18+ rating requires unanimous support from the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General, and the Western Australian government is applying pressure against the move. Here's a story on Perthnow giving the names of some of the MPs to contact and tell them that they need to support this measure.
