  9. Those built in apps are pure garbage. Slow as fuck and clunky to use with a remote. I just picked up a small form factor i5 box and installed Slackware. All it does is run Sling in a browser and run it well. I tried Sling with an older Roku box and it was the slowest thing ever. Took several seconds to move one menu choice and the remote was terrible too.

    You could probably find some source code for old clients but I doubt many would compile under modern day Linux.

    Except here you can't easily wipe anything. Even if you wanted to destroy the flash would you know where to physically look? Does it all get stored in one place or in the separate modules? Don't forget that the cars are never offline either.

    Agreed. The USA does need universal health care but I have no faith in their ability to manage it. Look at how poorly the VA system is run. That is what you'd get.

    Autonomous driving depends on clear lane markings. Around here most of them barely visible and don't get repainted often. No thanks.
