I've always said you could replace most CEOs with a magic 8 ball and notice little difference. No matter how badly a CEO fucks up a company they leave with a golden parachute.
If you go the hex core route, look for X5650 boxes. You'll find thousands for sale. I bought a Lenovo earlier this year with that CPU and 24Gb of ram for $300. The W3680 Xeons are a bit faster but not nearly as numerous.
I needed a new phone and these Lumia models were dirt cheap. What stopped me was the ability to block ads either via browser or hosts file. I ended up buying an Android phone from Leagoo.
These days if you pick up a strong shortwave signal in the US its either Radio Jesus or a Mexican Border blaster. It's amazing to watch the shortwave spectrum on a $15 SDR dongle (with the $40 upconverter).
Interesting link. My Lenovo box has the an X58 motherboard but I don't think the stock bios will allow for much tweaking. This was still a huge speed boost from my old Q6600 box.
I ran Palemoon for a while but it was still slow compared to Chrome. There is a reason Firefox is tanking and Chrome is growing. The product is simply better.
Just because you can have 100 open tabs doesn't make it practical. You can only read one book at a time. What is the point of having that many? By the time you hit tab 73 you have no idea what tab 22 was about.
Before that it was Lycos.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. Blackmail a bankrupt country. Brilliant plan.
Oh yeah totally doable for non comp.sci majors.
Is Firefox even 64 bit now? They still don't support multi process or threading very well.
Some universities have a department just for selling surplus items. Call around.

Dumbass trolls haven't even realized the domain expired and its a landing page.
Some phones come with malware installed from the factory. Especially the cheap Chinese models.

There used to be laserdisc rips of the original trilogy on bittorrent. That is about as close as you'll get.
The movie was a flop and nearly bankrupt Long John Silvers because they dumped so much money into merchandising it.
If this can happen and no one notices, are these paper sites that important in the first place?
All I want is a display with a 16:10 ratio that doesn't cost triple what 16:9 displays do.

The city is going down the shitter and has been for years. Don't do it.
Crippling heat and humidity come to mind.
So the bottom line is sand niggers. Got it.
Guess you aren't aware of the "hey Siri!" function...

You know this system is probably used for advertising metrics.
Like I said putting torrent traffic through TOR only clogs the exit nodes.
