  1. You can't beat the prices on The Dollar Store Backlash Has Begun (citylab.com) · · Score: 2

Like the subject says, you can't beat the prices of these stores for brand name items. I buy tons of stuff like cleaning products and simple food ingredients. They sell Spleda for like half the price of what grocery stores charge.

If you really want to watch these basic income people squirm, get them to admit where the money comes from. They'll tell you to read this or watch that video for an explanation. Finally they admit it comes from taxes. Taxes which the middle class pay a large percentage of.

  6. I love it when "new" technology is rediscovered. Where have we seen this before? Thin clients and fat servers? Genius! Nobody has ever done heavy processing on the back end and pushed the data to thin clients.

The market dictates prices. Someone finds nearly three grand a month for rent is acceptable and pays it. Meanwhile in more sane areas of the country that would get a mortgage on a 3000 square foot home.

The autism levels on this "tech" site are off the charts. Bitcoin is in no way like tulip bulbs. The actual idea and technology behind it is fascinating and the fact that the creator is still a mystery makes it even better. Also the Satoshi wallets are still worth billions currently and have never moved. Who is sitting on that amount of wealth? But yeah totally tulip bulbs.
