How is this for a bad Wednesday. Some might find the pictures disturbing.
There were people in the trailers minutes before the collapse. I know the crane op that was on site, he went beyond the call of duty to begin evacuation. Regardless of the comments posted this accident was found to be caused by something called 'boom creep', it wasn't a dangerous lift or contamination.
That's the contrast of the image and depth of field(aperture) setting on the camera. Another factor would be the film stock itself, they like to use super fine grain.
I read the article and his blog and came to the conclusion that somewhere some medical professionals are looking for him.
I don't see anything on his site that has any verifiable information on it. He's put a lot of work into trying to connect the dots, but to me it just sounds like a conspiracy theory nut.
Racing is an incredibly effective way to sell cars.
My dad used to sell cars back in the 60's, when one manufacturer won a race on the weekend the sales for that car spiked the following week. He loved it when Dodge won the race.
As for games, I don't buy games just because others like them. I buy them because I like them. Thanks to the readily available demos. Whereas auto racing has a purpose to it's heritage, video gaming doesn't. Until that changes gamers will need jobs.
Then take your pick from Tiger Direct.
Like I said, you can find them anywhere. The reason I chose the "gaming hunk of junk" is that it is far more functional. You just need to work on the upper body strength a bit:)
Oh and AC, yes they are warm, but I don't put them on my lap. I've never had one overheat though, and this is far from my first Toshiba.
The Toshiba Qosmio is a far better buy than the Adamo as well.
2.13 GHz- $1849.00
Nothing special there with the Adamo, we can all find better products than a Dell, at a better price. You just need to look, and work out the arm muscles:)
Just remember that the union officials work for the union members. Okay, this is an idealist statement, but because the LU membership is generally smaller than a city, the members can actually vote out officials that abuse the system.
Depending on the skilled trade or profession you are involved in you might find that there is already an international brotherhood that encompasses it.
One more point, there are very few union members(the workers) who are biased against non union employees. They do the same work we do, and generally for a lot less money. Our problems are with the non union employers who exploit their employees.
It would also keep officers safer.
If an officer is injured and can't coherently give his location, they can still find him and give him the aid that might save his life. I just hope that they can make the system really damned secure so that a criminal can't break into the system and use it to target officers.
I'd like to see this extended to fire fighters as well.
This might sound like a shameless plug for Union. I don't care about that.
If you didn't need a Union, the companies would already show the respect that the 'common' worker deserves. That is payment of overtime, guaranteed start and finish times - if a worker wants to put in extra, or if the employer requires this, to finish what they are working on, then an ammendment to the Collective Agreement can be worked out.
No, unions aren't perfect, but as a union worker I don't have to put up with that kind of crap.
I'm terribly surprised that TFA doesn't mention children working there for 16 hour days.
You've noticed this too eh?
It does the same thing if you start Solitaire or Minesweeper.
I'm also wondering why this is news, I could understand it being in the Idle, but not the front page.
I'm still waiting for this to happen in Canada. While there are other choices available to me, they are tremendously limited.
1. I can stay with Shaw for high speed.
2. I can switch to Telus and get DSL.
3. I could get dial up.
Several years ago we used to have two companies in Edmonton that provided cable, but to change providers you needed to move to the other end of town. It sounds like the CRTC is just as open to the needs of Canadians as the FCC is to U.S. citizens.

But did they get a good grade on the project?
The first release only have support for x86-32 Linux, the only major platform Spotify do not run on.
So, they'll support what it won't run on?
Linux is a major platform? Or do they mean that 32 bit Linux is major compared to 64 bit?
I even ran it through some translation software and I still don't know what they're trying to say.

Thankful for what he gave us.
Just apply alot of pressure :)
I solved that by just looking at the screen instead of the case.

I've never had them enforce it with us. Twice we've gotten an e-mail warning, however there was never a fee applied or a suspension of service.
I thought Shaw was a bunch of pirates. At least I don't seem to have a cap on my service.

Oh shit, I knew that :)
Posting anon to preserve moderation in thread.
What do you mean exactly? I'm still somewhat new here. :)
Hopefully this fixed it

I forgot to list one of my choices.
4. I could get satellite and use a landline for my upstream.
Again, not a choice that I'm willing to make.

I only hope it's not in reference to Ziff Davis.
But I have news for them, the next time they try it, we will help them!
We should talk....
If this wasn't /. I'd recommend some sunlight...
The headline convinced me that the Canadian Football League was causing woe....
