I honestly don't care about that, but I can imagine some people need it. What angers me most with todays phones is no LED notify on the phone, so we have to use some weird applications that either blink camera flash, buttons or actually turn on screen. I had very nice LED notify on my G1, as well as trackball (worked as mouse cursor in some webbrowsers) and hardware keyboard. If I could switch internals from my SGS2, then I would be happy to do it, even if it was more bulky.
Also, it seems like battery is NOT removable (in the spec) - WTF?
I've got it in a bargain for $15, played singleplayer and it wasn't that bad. Didn't play prequel, but this one played pretty good. For $15 I would say it was a fair price. If I were to buy it for more, then I would pass it, just as I did on its launch. Its too bad tho that it ended so quick, wanted more...
Who set up this website anyway? Was it some anonymous? If so, then what nationality? Maybe he defaced it by himself? I mean... who would really register on AnonPlus? You loose your anonymity when you do, it was bullshit site to begin with, just with some simple HTML.
And if its the target who is shaping? I was playing certain MMORPG and at some times it would start to lag like hell. I would then ask on chat if it happens to someone else and turns out that it does for some, for others not. If I would try other game, then it would be fine. Proof for this is existance of services like http://www.lowerping.com/about-lowerping.php with offer you VPN that should actually LOWER your latency. Never really did try that tho.
Yes, they ignored the fact, that Starcraft 2 pirated version is just campaing mode, while the most important one for this game - multiplayer - is only for legal copies. Fallout doesn't have multiplayer part, so if you pirate, then you get 100% of the game.
Its not like you have to buy HTC or Apple. Or buy new phone each year. If its just voice and text, then phone from 10 years ago does this job just as good as current ones. Sure you don't have nice threaded view on SMS and touch interface, but battery holds for much longer.
It makes you into example as to how evolution eliminates those that aren't fit. And you are helping it by yourself. Kudos to you. I also see that there is a lot more people than it was 100 years ago, but there is still plenty of food that is thrown away, just to not over-saturate market; or limits in how much you can produce, fined if you fail to comply. At least here in EU. There are places that don't use any modern technology in crop cultivation, so there is room for improvement too. We don't know what future technology will bring either. Maybe we will go into space and start living in domes on Mars? Or maybe we die... but you can't be sure and if people would just let it go if any doubt would arise, then we would be still using rocks for hunting.
I figure that your retailers match their price to earnings of their customers, so it could be hard to find something as cheap as here. Problem with Steam is that (from what I can tell) they have the same price for everyone in Europe. If new games for PC would be priced at 50-60€ at retail in Poland, then almost no one would buy. There are people here who need to live out of 300€ a month, and families with 3+kids that have "just" 600€ in total. 30€ for a game is already a hefty price + hardware that costs the same as in west EU; if not more. I would suggest trying amazon UK, recently I bought there Sins of Solar Empire and Gothic4 cheaper than anywhere I could find.
Steam has one of the highest prices I have EVER seen. They drop them not that often, so you can buy some older games for still full price. And well... each new one goes for around 50-60€, while local retailer will sell it for around 15-30€ - boxed! Even if Steam puts something on sale its still often more expensive than my local retailers, tho I must admit sometimes its cheaper or shipping costs and me having to watch for mail makes Steam a bit more convenient. But overall its very expensive, especially in countries where you don't earn 1500-2000€ minimal.
People actually raged in Poland when they heard that Starcraft 2 will be priced at 50€ at retail. That was just unheard of for a PC game, tho it had enough fans to make a sale.
Well, AFAIK Wikileaks didn't break any law in EU. Its Visa and MasterCard that could possibly do that - at least in EU that is. If they want to operate in EU, they need to comply. They don't want to? Well, I'm sure some else will take over.
Seriously, Jabber alone is one of the biggest OSS failures we've ever seen, behind maybe only Diaspora. It got a huge amount of hype and attention, but could never make anything of it. Sure, there are a small number of companies that use it internally, but it has never really progressed beyond that. It has never gone mainstream in any measurable way.
Really? Maybe for public use, but where I work they use jabber only for internal IM, with our own server setup. Where I'm gonna (probably) work they use XMPP as well. To be honest, I can't imagine company/corp. to use anything else - with XMPP you can have your own server and control all internal traffic, anything else is a risk.
Indeed. Customers need to be hurt A LOT in order to get conscious about security and start demanding it, or start avoiding companies like Sony - more or less forcing everyone to pay more attention into securing their services.
I have bought Witcher 1 a few days ago, its Platinium edition or whatnot, patched to latest 1.5 and DRM free. No need for any activation or whatever, but I hear it was bad before they removed DRM. Back in the days I doubt they expected it would get much attention outside of Poland, so they might have lacked ENG support - it was pretty big surprise for everyone, that this game got so popular. Witcher was well known even before its got its game here - heck, my dad knows Witcher, so their target market was local one most likely. They might have diverted a bit from that with Witcher 2, so maybe try again if you like - I expected improvements in areas that you mentioned and were lacking.
Yea, it shows what is app asking for, but doesn't let you to choose what to actually give. Now its either all or nothing, but Cyanogenmod lets you to fine-tune permissions for app, so for example that notepad app won't be getting access to your contacts or internet anymore.
My grandpa is using Skype and he is computer illiterate (got like 5 toolbars and shitload of icons in tray, antivirus popups now and then). From what I can tell, its the most popular video conferencing app out there. Maybe also some phone/voice stuff as well. People won't jump to XMPP, because little people use it and little clients support audio/video conferencing. Google Talk has incomplete implementation, and Gmail works only on Windows. Junk.
Its not as good as SC1. Maybe its "OK" for people who play just 1v1/2v2, but for those who bought SC2 to play custom maps (UMS) its a HUUUUGE disappointment. There are no good maps, its flooded with simple TD and Nexus shit, and if there are any interesting ones, then then they are buried on the bottom of that pile of goo called "most popular". In old battlenet you saw list of currently open lobbies hosted by people and could choose from that. If you created lobby with never seen map then there was big chance for people to come begging to try it out. Not now tho. At least they added chat channels again, with aren't really that much used anyway - fail BNet 2!
I can't even play Cat&Mouse or madness type of map FFS!

It is. Just look at how much 5mm is. It sounds small, but for walking its pretty annoying.

$10 for renting a single video? I think thats the problem. I could buy video for $10-15, but rent for $1-2. Those prices are unreasonable.
And if its the target who is shaping?

But just those that lead only to thief safe house. Sure he could have some legitime business there as a cover up, but so what?

You bought PowerBook just to play music? Wow...
I don't understand your post. Do you imply he should sell only one copy of his game and then start giving it for free?
Well, AFAIK Wikileaks didn't break any law in EU. Its Visa and MasterCard that could possibly do that - at least in EU that is. If they want to operate in EU, they need to comply. They don't want to? Well, I'm sure some else will take over.
There is Seamonkey project, based on Firefox code. It has more sane versioning IMO.

Not exactly. Previous summary centered around Silverlight, only to mention .NET as a side effect. Now its full blown .NET FUD.

After they break into your house, you also operate by this simple advice of yours and switch homes?
