And if you're so upset that Mozilla/Netscape has a mail client, then I suggest you choose not to install that component when you're given the option during installation. Gosh that was difficult wasn't it?
hi DrXym, i guess Mozilla is different depending on the platform you're on. On the Mac u download the thing, it opens a nice big folder and then u double click the mozilla icon and in a minute or so you're browsing. no installation or options offered unfortunately.
who uses usenet? judging by the piles of crap i wade thru while i'm eating my toast every morning a few million or so souls. i don't know anyone who uses web mail as their primary mail, most ppl i know got it as a backup / holiday mail. i agree the mail and news should be separate from the browser though.
well there is competition in the UK. 4 companies handle the handphone traffic between them. what we do have is one standard, GSM. therefore everything else becomes easier...
reading a link off that webpage it seems a lot of astronomers want to strip pluto of planet status... what on pluto for? leave the poor thing alone, its out there all cold and just got charon for company, its cruel to do this thing to it!

As for Mac users howling, you bet they did. When I told a guy I worked with that his 3 year old mac was too old to play a game he got for his young daughter he was pissed.

if everyone just used browsers that could set the browser string (such as iCab can) and set their string to Netscape 4 or even Lynx we'd be fine.

well u can get IE5 / OE 5 on the mac as well, but they are kinda separate. they share some attributes such as sloth and crashability
