i agree with most you say but that crap about only in america can u choose what OS you use is sad man. we have heard of unix in the rest of the world you know. theres geeks who can hack perl and hack bsd everywhere. even in brum.
like i said on another site, it should not be about winners, losers, OS wars et cetera. that crap is for people with small willies. choice and diversity is good innit
yeah they had a demonstration train before our maglev but i reckon the "world's first commercial train to float on magnetic fields" is still the dear old brum maglev!
i don't like IE because its more likely to crash my mac than any other program, in fact nothing else does - apart from entourage and word now and then. hmm i wonder who makes them too?
IE also has an ugly interface and doesn't have the fabulous features of a certain browser from germany...
its prudent to have separate partitions, and had an unexpected bonus for me. my classic partition got corrupted so i was able to save it using X and not lose any data. kewl.
here in england thats decided by HMG. but they make weird choices. city of wolverhampton for christ's sake!
Mac OS X is a "unix-like" OS
old git
sorry dude, it was late
they got to be nice to him, then he'll want their money again
I Am A Troubled Smelly Teapot. just kidding!

well i do remember it broke down quite a bit, but i dunno if thats why
ah yes i remember well, back when i was a lad, going to the airport for a bit of plane spotting. a trip or two on the maglev was essential
s'pore airport got one too i thought, it was dark when i was on it though
er no, birmingham airport to birmingham international railway station, which is a few hundred metres away
though it was shut down recently.
this one is a lot longer though, 30+ km, the brum one was more like 300m
microsoft's site being down is wonderful, and cheers me up no end. if only it was down permanently...
a month after i finally buy one!
oh i know all about substance thank you, sorry for having a different opinion than you dude
apple hardware has style *and* substance
sure now? i got one of the latest imac models (though a few months old by now) and i can't hear any fan in it guy. the older imac does have a fan
oh do be serious
also, has anyone yet said that they'd love to use apple hardware but they think its so much more expensive?

if there are any that think that then they ought to go to some real police states and see exactly what happens there.
not really, crime has been cut where there are cameras, still is some though
