Except if I need to learn a little bit about international copyright law to do my job, I don't bitch about it. Most users problem is that they don't want to learn and you wonder how well they do other tasks with such a lazy attitude.
Users will constantly say things like "I just don't understand technology." or "I don't care whats wrong, I just want it to work". This used to put me in a bad frame of mind. I find it hard these days not to laugh at them. I wonder how long it took them to learn that fire will burn or not to walk down the middle of the freeway. They live in the same world as us but refuse to put a minimum amount of effort into learning how it works.
People are wrong all the time. When you argue against something the people who wrote the format are saying. That is just ridiculous. You never bothered to find out it was pronounced and after years of being wrong you wold rather die than admit you made a mistake. Sounds very human.
Yeah, the moron who created a prolific graphics format. It wasn't a big deal when I read about it in 1990 so I really think the problem is today's morons who can't accept if you invent it you can pronounce the name any way you like.
compuserve didn't charge that much. Maybe if you were using a tymnet node to access it. I had a account from 88 to 95 and used to drive to the nearest dialup location and get a hotel room. I finally found a hotel that the guy would let me stay dialed up from midnight to seven AM and I would login and grab all the new stuff I wanted that week using TapCIS. After I had grabbed what I wanted from CompuServe I would dial up and access BBS through the local tymnet node and that cost more than CompuServe.
The reason they report incorrect caller ID is because the exchange that the call is coming from is falsely reporting it.
The only way I can imagine to correct this would be to perform an end-to-end reverse lookup on the phone number that is claiming to be the one calling you and ask the exchange that is directly connected to that particular number if that number is making a call to your number, right now via a handshake protocol not entirely unlike starting a tcp connection.
Actually there is a much easier way to do this. Our VOIP provider for our customers has implemented it. You can't spoof their calls. They require the sent from number to match the actual number if not the call will not complete. We had trouble when they did this with a hospital and a bank who were sending out the incorrect number string with their forwarded calls. Its possible but the companies have to care and for the most part all they care about is selling phone service and not what the people that are purchasing it are doing.
The FBI is one of the biggest jokes we have in government today. They have become so lazy about how they investigate crime that I'm sure they are missing whole cargo ships full of drugs, slaves and bootleg media. If they had to pick from those three things to stop, the bootleg media would be their first choice with the slaves a distant third. I wonder if they ever tried to outlaw private meetings and force people to have all conversations through a phone. "Hey we can't have all these people just going to the park and talking where we can't record it"
Disney will be pulling access to all marvel movies and Disney products soon. They have announced it. They have canceled all their marvel projects. What kind of facts do you need to see why?
There is always someone in any crowd who will defend the status quo either because they lack the imagination to see a better way or they are frightened to take a chance on change.
This country was built on public works and institutions. Unfortunately in the past 70 years or so we have moved steadily away from this and toward the notion that everything has to make a profit to be useful. To some there is no profit that does not equal monetary profit.
I only troll, trolls. For whom does the troll really troll.
Only my daughter uses her name, everyone else calls her asshole. Din, Din ASSHOLE!

The beatings will continue until moral improves.
slow to respond and hard to debug.

I paid a flat fee for X amount of access. I hardly ever went over.

Its Gif pronounced Jif, like the peanut butter. End of story. I can't help it if someone can't accept that.
CompuServe used it and if you never used CompuServe, you don't know jack.

One more time, "Embrace Extend"
I use it to damp out all the noise the other monkeys make.
If they aren't making that money, they are losing it. False premise that will never convince anyone but a half wit.

Love them or hate them this isn't about ratings. This is about Disney rolling out their own streaming service.
They run those spambots on aws.
Or just saying that its a penny to look at 20,000 pages. Don't make facts look simple or your article looks simple.

No, I will stay here and get things fixed.

Blame way overpriced flagshit devices. That was a typo but I think it plays. Does it play?
These little psychos need to be very publicly judged.
